I would expect them to get married on Impact, with Dixie as maid of honor and Brian James as best man.

Of course, bischoff will perform the ceremony. and Kurt will crash it.

She died in 2007.

What do you consider to be the statute of limitations on grieving?

Ahh, so Bischoff's moved on to stealing the Edge/Lita/Matt Hardy angle now?

(Seriously, though, I'd HOPE all parties involved have made peace, or at least can be professional about it.)

I wonder if she has enough money (from Kurt) to buy a wrestling company ... either away from Dixie Carter or "some other dark horse altogether".

Don't want to hijack the thread, but as I was reading this, I was thinking about Wrestlers who end up with other wrestlers' spouses for 10, Alex.

I immediately thought of Benoit and Woman (Kevin Sullivan) and it seemed to me that this had happened many times.

Chyna ended up with Sean Waltman after her time with Trips, right?

is there a list of this anywhere or does anyone have a list in their head offhand?

Missy Hyatt going from Jack Tatum to Eddie Gilbert comes to mind immediately.
And, just because of the legendary viciousness of their feud in the 80's, Magnum TA marrying Tully Blanchard's ex-wife has to be up there.

I'm pretty sure this phenomenon has less to do with wrestling and more to do with human nature.

I don't know, Lise. I have worked at the same place, nearly 90% guys for 25 years. We have several get togethers a year where our wives come, and we have lots of guys who are pals with other guys and hang out a lot with each other's families.

But I don't know of anyone who swapped wives, or even anyone who left anyway for someone else's wife.

and then there are other sports: I can't think of this happening except in one case:

Fritz Peterson and Mike Kekich traded wives during the 1972 season (they were Yankees) and traded families. Both were out of baseball soon after.

They're actually making a movie about this incident, starring Damon and Affleck.

I still say that his reveal as the minister of Billy/Chuck's wedding was one of the truly great WTF shocks in wrestling history.

Well, people in other sports don't WORK with each other's spouses usually. Notice how the wrestlers who got their spouses taken from other wrestlers all tended to work together. I'm sure if there was a mixed NBA league you'd see this kind of activity happen, guaranteed. They're not exactly the most faithful of fellahs.

I wouldn't be shocked if there is not "serial dating" in pro sports, be it groupies, girlfriends or what have you.

Perhaps a more comparable situation might be entertainment instead of sports.

certainly lots of bed hopping/couples intertwined (literally and figuratively) with actors and actresses.

Is this Angle/Angle/Jarrett thing really any different than Pitt/Jolie/Aniston?

I think anywhere you have people working intimately and intensely with one another and have long periods of time away from your family it will crop up time and time again. Military, law enforcement, acting, wrestling, circus, musicians...

And that's how you end up with the "Rumours" album by Fleetwood Mac.
