What's your favorite bathroom reading material? Do you have anything that you keep there for entertainment when doing the duty?
I keep a couple of copies of Readers Digest in the washroom...because I've probably read the back of my toothpaste tube a zillion times...but an old Sudoku puzzle book has found its way there recently.
We bought a house with a bidet in the master bathroom. It makes for an excellent magazine rack. Time, Newsweek, The Hockey News & Blueshirt Bulletin are the materials of choice.
Game Informer magazine. We only get it because it comes with the GameStop Edge card, which is a must have if you buy games used from them. Game Informer itself is a pretty bad magazine, but it's effectively free.

That the universe was formed by a fortuitous concourse of atoms, I will no more believe than that the accidental jumbling of the alphabet would fall into a most ingenious treatise of philosophy - Swift
Currently: Ringside, a History of Professional Wrestling, which I picked up because it was in the bibliography of "Queen of the Ring: the Mildred Burke story" which I only found out about because of the "what are you reading?" thread.

I mean absolutely nothing against The Goon, but some of the people who write into those parenting magazines should not be allowed to have children. My two favorite question from this month's Parents magazine: "My first child was smiley all the time, my second-born isn't, what's up?" and "My 401k took a big hit last year, what should I do to improve it?"

I very rarely go to the restroom for an extended period, if you catch my meaning, without bringing my Kindle with me, unless I'm in a "gotta go gotta go gotta go RIGHT NOW!" kinda mood.

Pretty much anything: I do crosswords, I read the Sports Weekly when it comes in the mail....at my parents' house, I have an old 1997 MLB Season Review book with stats and everything in it. Here at my apartment, I have "The Bathroom Trivia Digest" that my parents got me for Christmas. It's a little book with tons of little factoids in it.
So we have numerous people taking their Kindles into the bathroom for poop readings? And then presumably taking those same Kindles back out into the real world?
Originally posted by LoosiePretty much what ever book I'm reading at the time. I also have Sudoku books in there and a couple of Uncle John's Bathroom Readers.
Those Uncle John's books are great for if you ever play Balderdash's new version with weird laws and odd movies and such.
My story is similar except I became a Packer fan. Man, I used to love the Oilers. Fuck Bud Adams. My story is typical--grew up in Houston so I still root for the Rockets and Astros.
