While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.

John Cena vs. Batista, WWE Championship: They've built this up as Cena finally getting over the hump and beating the one guy he can't beat. I'm going with Cena.

Edge vs. Chris Jericho, World Championship: Edge wins clean with the spear.

Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels, Streak vs. Career: I don't know who started that hideous rumor of a Triple H heel turn, but it doesn't need to happen here. Why would they cheapen the biggest match of the year with a Triple H heel turn? UT wins clean. Michaels gets a Flair-like sendoff the next night...THEN Hunter turns on him.

C.M. Punk vs. Rey Mysterio- If Mysterio loses, he must join the Straight Edge Society: The mask stip is on the shelf for now, but I'm assuming that's still on the table for later, so this feud needs to continue. Punk wins.

Triple H vs. Sheamus: If Cena wins, he needs a challenger in April. So why not Sheamus, the OTHER guy Cena's never beaten? Sheamus wins and gets his title rematch next month.

Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon, No Holds Barred: Bret wins clean with the Sharpshooter and rides off into the sunset.

Money-In-The-Bank Ladder Match: I'd really hate to think McIntyre's winning, but there's really no other way for them to go, is there? McIntyre wins, just to piss me off.

Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Cody Rhodes, Triple-Threat: This feud was booked all kinds of ass-backwards. So you book Orton vs. DiBiase with Cody's allegiance in question, set up a handicap match the next week, establish Legacy as more united than ever...THEN book the Triple Threat? Why not book the Triple Threat for Raw and book the handicap match for this show? It makes no sense. Orton wins, just to make Legacy look like bigger jokes.

Big Show & The Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth, Unified Tag Team Championship: The formula seems to be a good tag match that ends with Show hitting his Mayweather Special, so I'll go with that. ShoMiz continues to run wild.

John Cena vs. Batista: Batista's hot in this feud; so I'll go with him.

Edge vs. Chris Jericho: Chris Jericho wins. I want to say Edge, but read below.

Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels: The only one I really don't know how to call - this could go any way - and I bet it'll still be written the day of the event. I'm gonna say.......double countout or double something or other. I don't think we're gonna see a clean finish.

C.M. Punk vs. Rey Mysterio: Isn't Mysterio due for some surgury? I think Punk is gonna win this one, and Mysterio's gonna be stretchered out.

Triple H vs. Sheamus: Sheamus wins it in the biggest upset of the night. I may be weird, but I like him.

Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon: I'm gonna go with McMahon winning it, but Hart getting the last laugh somehow.

Money-In-The-Bank Ladder Match: Christian wins it and cashes it in tonight after Chris Jericho beats Edge.

Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Cody Rhodes: I can't believe how over Orton is with the crowd. That makes me quite happy since I'm a huge Orton mark. I'm gonna go with Orton here.

Big Show & The Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth: Morrison and R-Truth win it...should be a lot of fun.

John Cena vs. Batista: This can go either way, but my money's on Batista.

Edge vs. Chris Jericho: This feud has been so one-sided that it could only be Jericho, unless he wouldn't mind looking like a total wuss. So that's why he won't win, plus he never won the big match. I guess he doesn't need to, since he is always over. Edge.

Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels: Would somebody please.....PLEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAASE end this fucking streak??? I am so damn sick and tired of it! Well, HBK shold have won last year already, so why this time? Undertaker.

C.M. Punk vs. Rey Mysterio: Give them 15 minutes, and I'm happy. Punk.

Triple H vs. Sheamus: I am actually looking forward to this one, and it could be a surprisingly good match. HHH.

Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon: Bret.

Money-In-The-Bank Ladder Match: Drew McIntyre wins after hardly being a factor in the match (a la Edge in 2005).

Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Cody Rhodes: Pretty decisive victory for Orton here which is fine with me.

Big Show & The Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth: ShowMiz.

Awesome looking card on paper! Let's hope they can keep up!
Enjoy Wrestlemania. End the streak please!

Ok, so we have 40 votes here, so I thought it'd be interesting to see a consensus. Somewhat surprising results for me, the card is definitely not as predictable as some people had complained about.

Cena/Batista: Cena 28 Batista 12
Edge/Jericho: Edge 19 Jericho 21
Undertaker/HBK: Undertaker 34 Shawn 5 No Contest 1
Punk/Mysterio: Punk 30 Mysterio 10
HHH/Sheamus: HHH 16 Sheamus 24
Hart/McMahon: Hart 37 Vince 3
Money In The Bank: McIntyre 12 Christian 19 Shelton 1 Swagger 1 Kofi 6 MVP 1
Orton/DiBiase/Rhodes: Orton 28 DiBiase 6 Rhodes 5 Both DiBiase and Rhodes 1
ShoMiz/Truth and Morrison: ShoMiz 37 Truth/Morrison 3

The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels
Streak vs. Career

The Undertaker will never lose at WrestleMania. Ever.

Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon
No Holds Barred Match

The Hitman makes Vinnie Mac tap to the Sharpshooter.

WWE Championship
Batista vs. John Cena

Cena wins, and Batista absolutely has a cow. Feud's not over yet.

World Heavyweight Championship
Chris Jericho vs. Edge

Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Kane vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Matt Hardy vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Evan Bourne vs. MVP vs. Christian vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Jack Swagger

Kane wins, and has Cena and Jericho (and anyone who wins a world title in the interim) looking over their shoulders for MONTHS. (Of course, I picked him to win last year, so what do I know?)

Unified Tag Team Championship
Show Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth

Show Miz retains; Morrison and Truth just kinda seem slapped together to me.

Triple H vs. Sheamus

Triple H wins, and the marks rejoice.

Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Ted DiBiase Jr.

Orton beats his former pupils, and absolutely no one cares.

CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio
(If Mysterio loses, he must join Straight Edge Society)

Seeing Mysterio join the SES for awhile would be interesting.

Eve Torres, Beth Phoenix, Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim & Mickie James vs. Alicia Fox, Vickie Guerrero, Maryse, Layla & Michelle McCool

...But who cares?

Here are some more thoughts from a demented mind in Central Florida:
John Cena vs. Batista, WWE Championship / Edge vs. Chris Jericho, World Championship: I'm putting these two together because, at this point, I'm fairly certain that at least one of the defending champs will retain. I don't think they've quite done all they can with either Jericho as champ (once again) or Batista (for a pleasant change). However, as far as Edge goes, the E does like to give the babyface-returning-from-extended-injury-absence the win (See: Triple H, 2002). They also seem to be on a trend of doing rematches at Backlash in which the challenger finally goes over. (See: Backlash, 2008 and 2009). I think Edge finally gets his big WM main event win here and goes over Jericho. In an interesting change, Batista will somehow retain over Cena (either through chicanery or being DQ'd), continuing the Batista-Cena feud later in the year - and yes, this is a very good thing. Winners: Edge over Jericho to win World Heavyweight Championship; Batista retains WWE Championship.

Triple H v Sheamus: Dood, the last time Triple H was this low on the card, he was taking on Kane at WM XV. (No, I don't count his match against Taker at X-7 as "that low" because Taker's matches at WM have become big things in and of themselves.) Remember how he lost by DQ to Kane that year when Chyna interfered and then later interfered in X-Pac's match against Shane McMahon? I think I see that happening here, too. Out of frustration, Triple H busts out the sledgehammer, gets caught, and gets DQ'd, giving Sheamus the win and keeping Triple H available if they want him to interfere in HBK-Taker later that night. Winner: Sheamus by DQ.

Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon, No Holds Barred: As long as we're talking DQ finishes, here's the only way I see Vinnie Mac winning here: Bret locks Vince into the Sharpshooter, and Vince taps. Match is awarded to Bret by submission. Bret, with about 13 years of pent-up aggression in his system, doesn't let go. Refs come in to break it up; they can't do it. Hart Family comes in to help break it up; they can't do it. Finally, after several minutes of not breaking the hold, the ref reverses his decision and DQ's Bret (Shades of Bret-Lawler at Summerslam 1993). However, I've already booked two potential DQ finishes for WM. I haven't been terribly thrilled with the E lately, but I'd also like to think they haven't fallen so far as to book no less than three DQ finishes on the same WM card. Also, it is a "No Holds Barred" match. Bret gets his last WM moment, leading to the proper send-off he so richly deserved back in 1997. Winner: The Best There Is, The Best There Was, and The Best There Ever Will Be, by submission.

Big Show & The Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth, Unified Tag Team Championship: Not quite sure what they're trying to accomplish with R-Truth here. I don't think he's done enough lately to justify getting either a singles or tag title. I do like Morrison, but I think being a tag champ with R-Truth would kinda be a step back for him at this point. I do like what they're doing with ShowMiz/Miz Show here, so I think they'll retain somehow. Besides, I predict that Miz will have his hands full after WM with one Daniel Bryan challenging for the U.S. Title. (Of course, I failed to predict that Miz/Morrison would get bumped to the dark match last year, and predicted Miz/Morrison would defeat the Colons, so what the fuck do I know? ) Winners: ShowMiz retains.

Randy Orton v Cody Rhodes v Ted DiBiase, Triple Threat: The E hasn't really made Cody or Ted look that credible over the past several months. Why start now? Winner: Randy Orton.

C.M. Punk vs. Rey Mysterio- If Mysterio loses, he must join the Straight Edge Society: No matter what the E does to try to bury C.M. Punk, he still keeps getting over. He's done great things as of late, and Rey doesn't really need a win here. Besides, what's the point if Rey does win, now? Fun fact: Did you know that C.M. Punk is currently 2-1 at Wrestlemania, and Rey is currently 3-2 (having missed WM in 2007 and 2008)? Winner: C.M. Punk

Money In The Bank Ladder Match: I can't help but think that this could be the worst MITB of them all, just because 10 guys is too much and too much potential for a clusterfuck. I'd like to be proven wrong, of course, as I've enjoyed the previous MITB matches. If the E still plans to have a MITB PPV in June or July, here's what I would love to see happen. In doing a second MITB ladder PPV/match in a calendar year, you have the winner of the WM MITB ladder match cash in to challenge the champ. What would be more appropriate for that championship match on that kind of PPV than to have two innovators of the ladder match - and two (former and current) world champs? P.S. Kane is not an innovator of the ladder match, so that leaves only one guy. Winner: Christian.

Eve Torres, Beth Phoenix, Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim & Mickie James vs. Alicia Fox, Vickie Guerrero, Maryse, Layla & Michelle McCool: Well, 10 divas are easier to keep track of and to follow than 25. But I'd sure like to think that the E learned its lesson from last year when it put that match on the show over Miz/Morrison vs. Colons, and won't bump some other deserving match for this. Outside of Beth Phoenix and the injured Mickie James (oh, and Maryse and her "sexy pins"), I really couldn't care less about anyone involved in this. Winner: In the words of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, "Who gives a $#@&!!" Oh, and Santino will somehow get involved in this, too.

Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels, Streak vs. Career: Prerequisites and preliminaries out of the way here first - still can't stand HBK, and still think he's got no business hogging the spotlight or ending the Taker's streak. That said, I'll give him, Taker, and the E credit for actually making this year's match more interesting to me (and even building it up better) than last year's match. The "Bret interferes and costs Shawn the match" scenario has already been discussed, and feel free to add me to the "Wouldn't Be Able to Stop Laughing and Smiling for Weeks After" camp on that one. But because it'd be so damn great, and since Bret sorta kinda already reconciled with Shawn on the January 4th RAW, I don't see it happening. Maybe Triple H interferes in this one and turns full-on heel. Could be. I'm not sure. All I know is no one short of maybe Cena or whomever is clearly becoming their next Hogan/Rock/Austin will - or should, at the very least - end The Streak. And if the rumors are correct about HBK taking time off after WM are true, why the flying fuckity would you let someone beat Taker who won't be around for months after, when you can have rematches up the wazoo and put him on TV to play off of it? Winner: Undertaker 18-0; HBK 6-11.

Can't wait to see this on Sunday night. :)

John Cena vs. Batista, WWE Championship: Cena wins, Batista wins the title at the next PPV and they battle for another few months.

Edge vs. Chris Jericho, World Championship: Jericho wins, Edge wins it at the next PPV.

Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels, Streak vs. Career: Taker. Shawn retires (after a Raw ceremony) for a year or two, at least.

C.M. Punk vs. Rey Mysterio- If Mysterio loses, he must join the Straight Edge Society: Punk wins. Rey gets out of the Society with a win at the next PPV.

Triple H vs. Sheamus: HHH, but he makes Sheamus look really good.

Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon, No Holds Barred: Bret wins, with family help when those coming to "screw" him get attacked by "The Anvil" and company. McMahon eats a post-match sharpshooter to tremendous applause for about four minutes afterwards.

Money-In-The-Bank Ladder Match: Christian.

Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Cody Rhodes, Triple-Threat: Orton wins when DiBiase turns on Rhodes or Rhodes turns on DiBiase to help Orton.

Big Show & The Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth, Unified Tag Team Championship: Show and Miz retain.

Mickie James & Kelly Kelly & Eve Torres & Gail Kim & Beth Phoenix vs. Michelle McCool & Layla & Maryse & Alicia Fox & Vickie Guerrero: The faces, and they all gang up on Vickie afterwards of course.

I'm not departing too much from the conventional wisdom, but here I go.

Cena. How many title wins will it be for him? But the story is clearly building to him winning, and he really is the face of the company.

Jericho. They've made Edge look too good, I think, for Jericho to take the loss here. Give Jericho the upper hand here, and they can build toward an Edge win later.

Taker. It's actually kind of amazing, when you think about it, that it's gotten to the point where they're less likely to throw away Taker's streak than Michaels' *career*. Now, granted, a big part of that is because we know there are myriad ways to undo a retirement stipulation, while--Drew McIntyre's "technically undefeated" status notwithstanding--you can't reinstate the streak once you end it. (Hmmm...Michaels wins, they have a "rubber match" next year, and then declare it a very long best-of-three-falls match. Nah!) Still, it shows you how big the streak has become. I'm still one of those that thinks that they should use the streak to give someone the rub, but HBK isn't the one who needs it.

Punk. Rey doesn't need the win. Besides, my understanding is that he could use some time off, and a Punk win would let them either send him away for a while or, better still, keep him in a non-wrestling role. Maybe some of both. Punk has been absolutely tremendous in this angle.

HHH. His record at Mania hasn't been great over recent years, and in years to come he'll probably be jobbing more often. Here's a chance to take a win without hurting anyone too much.

Hart. Has there ever been a major match that was such a sure thing? Well, apparently at least three people here think so, but I don't get that. Ordinarily when there's a finish people want to see so much, there's a question of whether to give it to them right away or make them wait until the next PPV. But Hart's not in the condition to do more PPV matches, and there's never going to be a better time.

Christian. Boy, there are a lot of people in this match who are in the doghouse, aren't there? It seems like the people I'd expect them to give the win to are elsewhere on the card--if Morrison or DiBiase were in the match, I'd probably pick one of them. It doesn't make sense to me to do the angle they've been doing with Drew and then put him over here. If they wanted to give Kane another title run, they'd have done it a while ago (and they probably should have, but that's water under the bridge). I really want to pick someone who isn't in the match--maybe Booker T comes back and gets inserted somehow? Maybe it turns out that WWE kidnapped Samoa Joe? OK, that last one is preposterous, but Booker isn't impossible. I'll stick with Christian, though. And I think he'll end up not winning when he cashes in.

Orton. Yawn.

ShowMiz. Big Show finally gets a WM win.

Face divas. Hmmm...does the rule that everyone jobs in their hometown apply to Beth Phoenix in the city named after her? B^) Not much thought or promotion into this match, so they'll make it quick and make everybody happy (except, possibly, those who are offended by the humiliation of Vickie Guerrero; I have no problem with her eating the pin, but I hope they won't do anything to embarass her, you know?).

John Cena vs. Batista, WWE Championship: Cena wins.

Edge vs. Chris Jericho, World Championship: Edge wins.

Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels, Streak vs. Career: Taker wins, HHH probably costs HBK the match.

C.M. Punk vs. Rey Mysterio- Mysterio.

Triple H vs. Sheamus: Sheamus

Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon, No Holds Barred: Bret HAS to win,

Money-In-The-Bank Ladder Match: Drew McIntyre wins and cashes in right after the Edge match. He loses.

Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Cody Rhodes, Triple-Threat: Orton wins after an RKO to the loudest pop of the night (fans are rabid for him right now)

Big Show & The Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth, Unified Tag Team Championship: Show and Miz retain.

John Cena vs. Batista, WWE Championship: I want Batista to win, as Douchetista's been really entertaining and a good change of pace from his boring face stuff, but Cena is winning. Ugh.

Edge vs. Chris Jericho, World Championship: I'm cool with either one winning, even though I'd prefer Jericho to win, but Edge is becoming champ.

Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels, Streak vs. Career: Taker will win, though these past two years have had build up that have come the closest to making me think otherwise.

C.M. Punk vs. Rey Mysterio- If Mysterio loses, he must join the Straight Edge Society: Straight Edge Rey would be fantastic, especially after Punk's incredible promo in front of the Mysterio family, but again...Rey's winning.

Triple H vs. Sheamus: I'm gonna say Sheamus wins here. Say what you want about Trips, but he hasn't been shy about a) putting over his friends or projects and b) putting people over at Wrestlemania.

Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon, No Holds Barred: There's no way Bret doesn't win.

Money-In-The-Bank Ladder Match: Signs are pointing more towards Drew McIntyre, but I'm going with Christian.

Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Cody Rhodes, Triple-Threat: I don't know why this match is even on the card. DiBiase wins.

Big Show & The Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth, Unified Tag Team Championship: Show and Miz retain the belts.

Mickie James & Kelly Kelly & Eve Torres & Gail Kim & Beth Phoenix vs. Michelle McCool & Layla & Maryse & Alicia Fox & Vickie Guerrero: The faces win when Beth picks up the pinfall.

John Cena vs. Batista, WWE Championship: Cena wins to close the show on a happy note.

Edge vs. Chris Jericho, World Championship: Edge wins it, and this should be a show stealer.

Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels, Streak vs. Career: Taker wins, possibly some shenanigans involved.

C.M. Punk vs. Rey Mysterio:This is a tough one. The interesting route would be a Punk win, especially a cheap win (like a CO or DQ). The boring, safe route is to have Mysterio win. I'm gonna say Punk wins simply because, as someone else stated, it gives Ray some (interesting) stuff to do post mania.

Triple H vs. Sheamus: I really think Hunter puts over his (sorta) protege here.

Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon, No Holds Barred: Bret wins, but the story is a mystery to me.. will the Harts take their shots at Vince? Will a Hart turn on Bret? Will the Hart Dynasty get involved? Will Shawn have something to do with this match, perhaps to get his job back? HHH? Goldberg? All of the above? To steal a quote from Bret'd old days in the WWE: Anything can happen!

Money-In-The-Bank Ladder Match: I'll go with McIntyre..

Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Cody Rhodes, Triple-Threat: My initial answer is "who cares", but I am going to predict Orton ofter some dumbass swerve that simultaneously will make no sense and leave the crowd apathetic. The loser will be the fans that didn't take their bathroom break here.

Big Show & The Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth, Unified Tag Team Championship: I kind of hope Morrison and Truth win here. I kind of like the team, and especially R-Truth and I think a run with a belt would be really good for him at this stage. Show and Miz dont really need the Tag titles right now. Plus Show has been mostly a tag competetor for a little too long, with Shawn and Taker rumored to take some time off, they will need Show to fill a main event spot.

Mickie James & Kelly Kelly & Eve Torres & Gail Kim & Beth Phoenix vs. Michelle McCool & Layla & Maryse & Alicia Fox & Vickie Guerrero: Typical Diva tag match booking, random diva... lets say Kelly Kelly pins random diva Alicia Fox without either Diva making a tag in like 3 minutes. Maybe Beth Phoenix... her moves are cooler.

Give him a bunch of titles, MITB wins, and interview time?

I can't help but think that this could be the worst MITB of them all, just because 10 guys is too much and too much potential for a clusterfuck. I'd like to be proven wrong, of course, as I've enjoyed the previous MITB matches.

I've heard this espoused but I think too much thought goes into the match to let it be bad. They always clear the ring and have people take turns and everyone knows where they need to be. Plus Bourne is going to jump really far off of something.

John Cena v. Batista-Batista needs the win. Cena gets the win.

Edge v. Jericho-Jericho. One heel must win, I suppose.

Undertaker v. Shawn Micheals. Undertaker. If he does not win, I will eat my hat.

CM Punk v. Mysterio- Ok. Two heels must win. Punk.

HHH v. Sheamus. Who in the name of god is Sheamus? HHH

Bret v. Vince. Bret. But man, something interesting is going to happen in this "match". Something doesn't feel right.

MITB- Christian

Legacy Blowoff-Orton.

Tag Team Title match. Oops. Three heels. Though it may be a Morrison showcase.

Diva Match. Face Divas.Kelly Kelly pins Vickie.

Good to see Wade Barrett back with the new attitude and awesome beard. I'm a bit disappointed that he doesn't go right after the Big Show seeing as how his gimmick is more focused on bare-knuuckle and the fact that THE BIG SHOW INJURED HIM!
