TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH TNA World Champion AJ Styles vs. Monster Abyss As much as they seem to be high on Abyss, ring of power or no, I don't think he's got a chance. Expect interference from Flair -- at the very least -- to give Styles the win.
THE ULTIMATE X MATCH Generation Me vs. Motor City Machine Guns to determine #1 Tag Team Division Challengers I have no idea -- neither of these teams are getting any kind of push, and neither of them are "Hogan's Boys." I'll say Generation Me, just because it'll be something new and because it's always a safe bet to predict that MCMG will lose.
TNA GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP Champion Rob Terry vs. Magnus Brutus seems to have lost his first name, along with his stable (World Elite), and his tag team doesn't seem to be doing too well either. This is total filler, belt or no. Terry retains.
X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Champion Doug Williams vs. Shannon Moore Moore. Why not? He shouldn't even be in this match, but he is for some reason -- must be because they want to give him the title as quick as possible.
TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Champions Matt Morgan & Hernandez vs. Beer Money They've switched Beer Money to heeldom and are teasing the same for Morgan. I'm tempted to take the safe, obvious route and say Morgan goes heel and costs them the titles, although I'd prefer the SHOCKING SWERVE™ of Hernandez going heel and rejoining Homicide in LAX. Beer Money wins in any case.
CHALLENGE MATCH Mr. Anderson vs. Kurt Angle By "Challenge Match" I think they just mean "Match." I'll say Anderson here.
KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Champion Tara vs. Daffney This was briefly listed as a First Blood match on TNA's site, but they've since pulled that stip. Either way, Tara retains (possibly by DQ when Daff goes psycho).
TNA CONTRACT - OR LEAVE THE COMPANY FOR GOOD Eric Young & Kevin Nash vs. Hall & Waltman Oh, man, I would LOVE for Hall & Waltman to lose and go away forever, but I'm going to predict that they win due a SHOCKING SWERVE™ surprise heel turn by...Eric Young!
LADDER MATCH Kazarian vs. Daniels vs. Amazing Red vs. Brian Kendrick Site doesn't say, but they stated on Impact that this for the #1 X Division contendership. Kazarian seems to be the best idea here, but I have no idea if Shannon Moore's supposed to be a face or a heel or what so who knows what they're thinking. Still: Kaz.

TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH TNA World Champion AJ Styles vs. Monster Abyss No way Little Naitch V2.0 loses.
THE ULTIMATE X MATCH Generation Me vs. Motor City Machine Guns to determine #1 Tag Team Division Challengers MCMG just because they have been around, and the Hardy Boyz V2.0 haven't had much of a build up.
TNA GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP Champion Rob Terry vs. Magnus Rob Terry
X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Champion Doug Williams vs. Shannon Moore I can't see Moore winning, but that's probably why he will.
TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Champions Matt Morgan & Hernandez vs. Beer Money Beer Money takes the belts after Morgan walks away from Hernandez
CHALLENGE MATCH Mr. Anderson vs. Kurt Angle Kurt, just because this MIGHT end this silly feud.
KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Champion Tara vs. Daffney Although my head says Tara, my groin says Daffney, so Daffney it is.
TNA CONTRACT - OR LEAVE THE COMPANY FOR GOOD Eric Young & Kevin Nash vs. Hall & Waltman Fingerpoke of doom V2.0? Waltman and Hall win. LADDER MATCH Kazarian vs. Daniels vs. Amazing Red vs. Brian Kendrick Daniels wins here. Why? I don't know.
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH TNA World Champion AJ Styles vs. Monster Abyss Styles is an easy lock. FYI: In about 10 days Styles will pass Kurt Angle (180 days), Samoa Joe (182 days) and Sting (189 days) for the longest reign as TNA World Champion.
THE ULTIMATE X MATCH Generation Me vs. Motor City Machine Guns to determine #1 Tag Team Division Challengers I guess I'll say Generation Me just because it would make the tag title match heel vs. face.
TNA GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP Champion Rob Terry vs. Magnus Terry wins unfortunately.
X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Champion Doug Williams vs. Shannon Moore I agree. If he's even in this match then they must want him to win it.
TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Champions Matt Morgan & Hernandez vs. Beer Money I'd love to see a Homicide/Hernandez reunion but there are too many heel teams already. Morgan turns heel and costs them the match.
CHALLENGE MATCH Mr. Anderson vs. Kurt Angle I'll say Anderson because Lockdown will be a better place for Angle to end the feud.
KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Champion Tara vs. Daffney I'll say Daffney wins.
TNA CONTRACT - OR LEAVE THE COMPANY FOR GOOD Eric Young & Kevin Nash vs. Hall & Waltman I guess I'll be the foolish one that says Nash and Young win.
LADDER MATCH Kazarian vs. Daniels vs. Amazing Red vs. Brian Kendrick Kaz definitely looks like the one getting the push.
Ladies and gentlemen, the following public service message is brought to you by your friends from D-Generation X, who would like to remind each and every one of you that if you're not down with that, we've got two words for you... Without the specter of Pope looming next month, the World title match might be a coin-toss; as is, it's an easy win for AJ.
Generation Me gets the title shot. I pull my hair out in anguish in the aftermath of the Guns getting screwed for the billionth time.
Rob Terry retains, as wooden as he is, because Magnus is even worse.
Doug retains too. I know the temptation is to go with Shannon because of how they're booking his return, but they haven't finished Kaz's story yet.
Beer Money wins the titles back, with Morgan's likely heel turn soon to follow (though I think it's a bit obvious to book the turn at the PPV itself).
Anderson, to continue the feud until Lockdown (if Kurt wins, that ends it).
They're hyping Daffney a lot lately, and Tara's better in the chase role, so flip the belt.
I'll be shocked if Hall & Waltman lose, even though by all rights, they should. Karlos has a good thought to have Young swerve Nash since I don't get why he turned face anyway.
Kaz picks up the win in the four-way and preps for Doug in an Xscape match at Lockdown.
smark/net attack Advisory System Status is: Elevated (Holds; June 18, 2006) While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH TNA World Champion AJ Styles vs. Monster Abyss -AJ due to Pope at Lockdown. Abyss as a GL is not motivating me to buy this PPV.
THE ULTIMATE X MATCH Generation Me vs. Motor City Machine Guns to determine #1 Tag Team Division Challengers -I am going with MCMG. This is probably my pick for MOTN. I think they would be a good foe for Morgan & Hernandez who won't take them seriously and lose at Lockdown.
TNA GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP Champion Rob Terry vs. Magnus -Ok, this is a bit out of nowhere. I'll say Terry.
X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Champion Doug Williams vs. Shannon Moore -Williams. Moore is a joke and should have been signed in the first place. I am also saying Williams due to my pick for the number one contender match.
TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Champions Matt Morgan & Hernandez vs. Beer Money -This is a tough one. I am going with Morgan & Hernandez, they just go it, so they need to build their tension more. Another solid match.
CHALLENGE MATCH Mr. Anderson vs. Kurt Angle -Kurt, he already jobbed to him last month and Kurt doesn't do back to back jobs on PPVs to anyone person.
KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Champion Tara vs. Daffney -Daffney wins in what will lead to a very brutal feud. I would have preferred the stip, but that is something for a rematch down the road.
TNA CONTRACT - OR LEAVE THE COMPANY FOR GOOD Eric Young & Kevin Nash vs. Hall & Waltman - I am going out on the limb and say no shocking swerve. They have seen the ratings with these guys, its time to move on. Nash and EY win.
LADDER MATCH Kazarian vs. Daniels vs. Amazing Red vs. Brian Kendrick
-I will go with Kaz in what will be a good solid match if given time.
I am a bit surprised there is no Wolfe, Pope, RVD, Jeff or Sting wrestling on the card. Its a pretty tight card too bad its so close to Mania.
My prediction is that they'll shoehorn in some shocking return or serve as a reaction to the diabolical rating on Monday. Maybe Joe will come back dresses as The Undertaker or something. Maybe he'll run in and turn on Abyss.
AJ Styles vs. Monster Abyss --Abyss wins, with Hogan interjecting somehow.
Generation Me vs. Motor City Machine Guns --I'll go with Generation Me. This could go any way.
Rob Terry vs. Magnus --Rob wins this one.
Doug Williams vs. Shannon Moore --I'll go with Doug Williams - but this won't be decisive. Shannon will win the title...just not tonight.esz
Matt Morgan & Hernandez vs. Beer Money -Hernandez beats both members of Beer Money to retain the titles after Morgan walks out. Wasn't Hernandez supposed to head to Mexico for a while? I dunno.
Mr. Anderson vs. Kurt Angle --Kurt and Anderson? I'll go with Kurt, but a double count out wouldn't surprize me.
Tara vs. Daffney --Daffney, but just because Tara bores me.
Eric Young & Kevin Nash vs. Hall & Waltman --We all know where this is going. Hall and Waltman win.
Kazarian vs. Daniels vs. Amazing Red vs. Brian Kendrick --I'll go with Daniels winning this one.
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH TNA World Champion AJ Styles vs. Monster Abyss I'm guessing they're still going with AJ/Pope in April, so AJ retains over New Eugene.
THE ULTIMATE X MATCH Generation Me vs. Motor City Machine Guns to determine #1 Tag Team Division Challengers The MCMG haven't meant anything in years, but I think this is their time to win, if only to get pasted by the champs later down the line.
TNA GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP Champion Rob Terry vs. Magnus I root for mutual destruction so that I never have to see or hear from these two ever again. As it is, I go with Rob Terry to put an end to this awful feud.
X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Champion Doug Williams vs. Shannon Moore I would hope Williams would be more than capable of taking down another WWE castoff. Williams retains, but not without some shenanigans.
TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Champions Matt Morgan & Hernandez vs. Beer Money Sure, let's take the hottest tag team act in the company and turn them heel for no good reason. And then let's build up their tag title match by having them play around with Jeff Jarrett, who isn't even booked. THIS is WCW! Morgan and Hernandez retain while still teasing dissension, just to make all parties look like idiots.
CHALLENGE MATCH Mr. Anderson vs. Kurt Angle I haven't stopped laughing at Anderson's ironic promo a few weeks ago where he called Kurt "injury-prone". Anyway, the pot (Anderson) beats the kettle (Angle) to keep the feud going. Let's just hope Anderson doesn't hurt himself OR his opponent. I'm sure Vince is still sending him Christmas cards for getting Cena hurt for three months in the middle of the hottest WWE feud of that year.
KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Champion Tara vs. Daffney Tara retains to keep the title warm for one of the BP.
TNA CONTRACT - OR LEAVE THE COMPANY FOR GOOD Eric Young & Kevin Nash vs. Hall & Waltman Nash turns heel and we get a 3-on-1 Young beatdown. We find out this was all one big elaborate plan from Nash to get his boys contracts, just to propagate the alleged theory that Nash is the Smartest Man in Wrestilng.
LADDER MATCH Kazarian vs. Daniels vs. Amazing Red vs. Brian Kendrick This company has done nothing with Daniels since the new regime. Hell, they haven't even given the poor guy his first name back. I think they start to write that wrong here, as Daniels shocks everyone with a win. CHRISTOPHER Daniels wins.
Hardy and RVD just debuted two weeks ago. That's not really enough time to have build up for a match. Certainly they shouldn't rush Sting/RVD this quickly. So I'm not surprised neither is on the card. I am surprised there is no Wolfe or Pope. Makes perfect sense for them to wrestle each other.
Originally posted by It's FalseTNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH TNA World Champion AJ Styles vs. Monster Abyss I'm guessing they're still going with AJ/Pope in April, so AJ retains over New Eugene.
I believe the committee ruled that all Abyss comparisons were to be made to Evad Sullivan.
I've got this quesy feeling that Abyss will get a one day title reign. I am gonna shrug that off and go with A.J retaining thanks to Wolfe and Beer Money which leads to the formation of the group with Flair playing the J.J Dillion role. Crazy prediction of the night(or not) Hall and Pac win but neither Nash nor Young turn as BTLS helps Hall and Pac win and is revealed as the guy that snuck them into the building every week. Rest of the picks Beer Money, Anderson, MCMG, Tara, Terry, Williams and Kaz.
Wow, a one day Abyss title reign makes perfect sense (in Russo's and Hogan's world)! This way (Evil) Hogan can beat him for the title the next day on Impact = RATINGS! :(
Yes, I'm back! I know, I said I would never ever watch that crap again, but ... I just can't live without it, I guess.
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: TNA World Champion AJ Styles vs. Monster Abyss: While it would not be completely unlike TNA thinking to give Abyss a short reign here, I will hope for wrestling logic to win out and Styles to get a Flair-ference win here. We might even get a SHOCKING SWERVE(tm) turn from Hogan, who knows?
THE ULTIMATE X MATCH: Generation Me vs. Motor City Machine Guns to determine #1 Tag Team Division Challengers: Generation Me is new and MCMG have been as directionless as ever. Let's go for the Generation Me win.
TNA GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP: Champion Rob Terry vs. Magnus: Filleriffic. No reason why Terry should lose the title here. It's weird, their website has Magnus listed as 'Brutus Magnus,' but they refer to him as 'Magnus.'
X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Champion Doug Williams vs. Shannon Moore: I don't know which way to pick. Let's flip a coin and go with Williams. Hopefully we get to see the Chaos Theory.
TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Champions Matt Morgan & Hernandez vs. Beer Money: There's dissention in the Morgan/Hernandez camp, so Beer Money will logically take the belts here and let Morgan and Hernandez go at each other.
Mr. Anderson vs. Kurt Angle: Anderson, if only to further the feud. I'm less than enthused, to be honest. I just don't see the upside to Anderson - he's just a poor man's Jericho, sans the in-ring ability and durability.
KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Champion Tara vs. Daffney: As much as I like Daffney, I don't see her as championship material. She's in the latest-challenger-round-robin role, in the finest traditions of the WWE. Tara will retain.
TNA CONTRACT - OR LEAVE THE COMPANY FOR GOOD: Eric Young & Kevin Nash vs. Hall & Waltman: I predict the swerve to be on us in this one. Young and Nash will win.
LADDER MATCH: Kazarian vs. Daniels vs. Amazing Red vs. Brian Kendrick: Red was champion just a few weeks ago. Brian Kendrick has not looked like a threat since he debuted. Daniels, the most deserving of the bunch, has done nothing of note. That leaves Kazarian (another in a long line of people with no first names), who seems to be the flavor of the week.
Forfeit the game, before somebody else takes you outta the game, and puts your name to shame Cover up your face, you can't run the race The pace is too fast, you just won't last - "Points Of Authority" - Linkin Park
Styles. An Abyss title run wouldn't be insane, if they wanted to set up some big runs for some of the heels such as Anderson. But obviously there's the match with the Pope, and ultimately I think it will be someone like RVD or Jeff who is takes the belt from AJ.
Generation Me. I really don't have much of a feeling here, but as Queezy said it's more logical to expect a face against a heel champ.
Rob Terry. Remember when they changed the Legends title to the Global title, with the stipulation that the title could never be defended on American soil? How many title matches did they have before they abandoned that? Not that I would have seen that coming in a company that shoots 100% of its television and just about all of its PPVs in the US. (I think they've done one or two PPVs in Canada, but I'm not even positive of that. They've done overseas tours but haven't broadcast anything back unless you count the handful of Global Impact matches.)
Shannon Moore. My guess is that the new Powers That Be couldn't pick Doug Williams out of a lineup. Not that I could.
Beer Money. I feel like I should never pick against TNA running the "tag title holders who don't get along" angle, but in this case I think they'll just go ahead with the breakup feud.
Angle. He hasn't gotten a lot of wins in big spots, so I think they'll give him this one while still making Anderson look like a badass. And possibly letting Anderson get the win back at Lockdown.
Tara. Setting up continued heelishness by the Beautiful People, probably including turning on Daffney for her "failure".
Hall and Waltman. I think they've been given too much TV time to just be summarily dismissed, unfortunately.
Daniels. A sop to the old-school TNA fans. Although I bet they won't be in much of a hurry to give him his match.
Originally posted by Tyler DurdenWow, a one day Abyss title reign makes perfect sense (in Russo's and Hogan's world)! This way (Evil) Hogan can beat him for the title the next day on Impact = RATINGS! :(
Well it worked back in 1998 when Hogan beat Savage(who won the title from Sting the previous night), and Nitro beat Raw in The Ratings that week after Raw beat them the previous week for the first time in forever. So that makes sense to Hogan and Russo I'm sure. For the record if Abyss wins on Sunday I'm sure he'll drop the title back to Styles. It would be dumb as hell. I'm still staying with my prediction of Styles retaining the title.

That was, specifically, an Eric Young stipulation, not a Global Title one; he also said that he wouldn't defend it against an American wrestler. I think he was forced to defend it once on American soil, against Hamada, and he retained. He lost the title to the Welsh Rob Terry in Cardiff, Wales, so they actually played by the stips pretty well on this one.

That was Eric Young's rule, that TNA went along with until he lost the belt. It was never actually TNA's rule for the title.

The hagakure is not quite a shining wizard... sounds like a good velocity. as long as he doesn't overdo it, Paul is a great GM choice. So basically they don't have anything better to do, Benoit and Angle get to beat on each other some more...
