Crank up that rumour mill in 3...2...1...
EDIT: I should probably point out that as I type this, she's still on the TNA Superstar Roster (tnawrestling.com).
EDIT 2: AND as far as I know, she's still one half of the Knockouts tag team champions, which I have to admit I totally forgot existed.

As logical and awesome as it would be to see Kong in WWE, this is a company that has grown so image-conscious that it even put Mickie James (of all people) in a body image angle. Can you really see Kong in WWE?
Kirk, crackers are a family food. Happy families. Maybe single people eat crackers, we don't know. Frankly, we don't want to know. It's a market we can do without.

Of course, the bullying body-mocking heel DID just win back the title in surprising fashion last Friday, so....hurm.
If she leaves then expect her at Mania unless TNA has a no compete clause which I doubt or Vince would just buy it out. Vince can afford to buy it out since the rumor I heard was she was only making $24,000.00 a year with TNA. Which could be missing a zero or total bullshit. If she came out during Mania in the women's match and beat the shit out of everyone it would get a giant pop. The women's division is so pathatic this could only help it and Michelle trying to smack talk about weight would be epic.

Maria hasn't been the same since she posed naked and dropped the ditz persona. As for Awesome Kong in WWE, as much as I want to see better quality women's wrestling, I don't really want her there. Her body type and character means she either has to dominate the division, or be a joke character, neither of which appeals to me.
I don't have a particular problem with Kong dominated the division and, frankly, there are at least several feuds worth having there. Kong/Phoenix, for one, immediately strikes me as a serious feud, especially if they're interested in using Beth as a babyface like they keep teasing. Mickey's perfectly fine in the plucky babyface role, equivalent to what Taylor Wilde was with Kong in TNA. And, of course, Kong and Gail Kim have excellent chemistry, and having her old nemesis to spar with might actually get Kim out of the funk she seems to have been in since returning to WWE. That's at least six to nine months of feuds, maybe more, which is more than Michelle McCool has left as a heel champ.

I'd love to see Kong in the WWE and she'd be a huge boost to what's become a carbon copy division. That being said I really don't know if I feel like hearing Lawler's crap every week, then again maybe she will just punch him out.
Who is saying she would be on Raw? I told my friend she tear the Divas belt in half like a phone book after destroying the women's division. If they get her they have to do epic shit with her. No one should be able to slam her either not even Beth. She was getting thrown around a bit more in TNA, so that would have to stop.
Remember, this is WWE. In WCW, Vader was a destroyer of worlds. In WWE, fatty fell down. I'd love to see Kong show up and plow through everyone like she first did in TNA, but I can see WWE trying to turn her into some sort of black Bertha Faye.

"Main eventer" for Big Daddy V might be a bit of a stretch. Umaga, on the other hand...
But my point stands - all those who want Kong to come to WWE need to be careful what they wish for. Mickie James gets called out for being fat, Natalya rarely gets to wrestle on TV, but they'll let Kong come in and crush everyone? Again, I'd like to see it, I'm just not hopeful it will happen.

Of course, being "called out" in this case meant getting her the love and support of the crowd as part of one of the better built angles in the women's division, before putting her over in squash-eriffic fashion at one of the biggest PPVs on the calendar.
If that's the sort of dressing down you can expect for piling on the pounds, I'm surprised more Divas aren't reaching for Ben & Jerry's.
I'm not saying the superficial doesn't play a part in employment/booking decisions. It does and frankly from a business perspective, it should. Mickie James is just a lousy example of the hardships faced by 'fatties' in the WWE though, especially given that half the point of the angle was that she isn't fat.

Yeah, that was a great moment, and if they'd left it at that, there'd be no room to complain.
Ando be fair, given that Mickie is apparently injured, maybe that changed their plans and explains her rapid title loss and completely unmemorable reign.

But that was never said. Not by the announcers, not by the faces, not by Mickie herself. Matt Striker would make jokes about Mickie shopping at plus-size stores and the face announcers would laugh. And all Mickie herself ever said on TV (as opposed to Twitter) was "I'm what a real woman looks like," which is almost an acknowledgement of what the heels saying. It was less "I'm not fat" and more "Yeah, I'm fat, so what?"

Until Horowitz finally won a match, it had been over 8 years since he won a match, and the only question when Horowitz appeared was how badly will he get destroyed for around a decade.
