I am not a horror buff and I wasn't into the Nightmare flicks in the 80s, but this does look quite excellent. Plus - Michael Bay - so there's bound to be some irrational ranting about it for our entertainment.

Oh man I was worried about this movie as the original NOES is my favorite horror movie and probably in my top 5 movies ever, but this looks GREAT. Can't wait to see it.
Lame. It's the same movie but glossier. At least Zombie's Halloween got deeper into Micheal Myers upbringing, this looks like an expensive copy much like all remakes nowadays.

After Rob Zombie's Halloween, thank fuck they're not 'going deeper' into Freddy's past. Which you don't really know if they will or not by a 150 second trailer anyways.

No way to save who? Save Otis? 'Cause Otis didn't really need saving until Shane shot him and left him for dead. Which could probably be used as an answer to the "What else was he supposed to do?" question.
