Any idea how they're going to handle the way the original Sonic & Knuckles game for the Genesis was able to connect to older Sonic games to add Knuckles as a playable character? In some cases this essentially created a whole new game. It'd be nice if Sonic 3 & Knuckles or Sonic 2 & Knuckles made their way to the VC.
You could also connect S&K to any other Genesis game and get differing Bonus Stages. That was a pretty neat feature but I wouldn't expect any type of emulation for something that vast.
Sting, it will work. If you have bought either Sonic 2 or Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles for the VC, you can play as Knuckles in either game. Here's the link (nintendo.com)
