Didn't Dibiase once do something like that with a very young little RVD?

His over-the-top reaction (and his hair) in that clip is outstanding, over-the-top cartoon villiany at its finest.

I really miss characters like this. Maybe it's just childhood nostalgia, but they seem so much more compelling to me than most modern day heels.

My favorite part of RAW was the clip of DiBiase offering that sheepish little kid $500 if he could dribble a basketball 15 times, and then proceeding to kick the basketball when the kid got up to 13. I nearly died laughing.

DiBiase is probably my favorite heel of all time. He was a rare performer that was equally great in and out of the ring. Seeing those clips was the highlight of the night for me. I read from Hot Newz that he was wearing the cape because the WWE was testing out the Gangrel gimmick on him first, in case he needed to be repackaged, but Hulk Hogan is legit afraid of vampires, so they put it on the back burner.

Jared from Subway belongs in the celebrity wing of the WWE hall of fame. No celebrity has provided more great moments than this man.

Something like this?:

This is compliments of the latest High Times Article

I think this kills any RVD at Wrestlemania rumors that might pop up.

Finally, mark my words. Bret will not be wrestling a singles match at Wrestlemania. Even a tag match is a long shot. He will be in Cena's corner and apply the sharpshooter after McMahon is laid out. Bret almost killed himself pulling down the gimmicked equipment Monday. Do you really think he will be able to wrestle ANY kind of match? Also, I thought it would be funny if someone one of hese days accidentally destroys a legit piece of equipment instead of a rigged one. Maybe not funny, but interesting.

His source was Hot Newz.

I love the dynamic of ShowMiz. Instead of just rehashing what they did with JeriShow they have a totally different chemistry together. With Jerishow, it was really a marraige of convenience. Jericho delusionally thought he was the one carrying the team and treated Show like a big dumb sidekick. Miz on the other hand realizes that Show is just as important to the teams success as he is, if not moreso. And they seem more like friends, as opposed to two guys who just happen to hold the belts together. Of course this totally ignores the fact that they hated each other about 8 months ago or so. But who wants to remember that(RAW was pretty bad then, so not me!)?

I like Christian, but there was no way the lame duck champ of a dying show should beat the WWE champ. I'm glad he got a decent showing though.

Interesting that a couple months ago people couldn't stand RAW for the most part, while TNA seemed to be getting its act together somewhat. Now it seems to be the other way around again. Amazing how much things can change in a short time.

It is pretty interesting how things can change in a short time but hopefully the WWE continues not to go sloppy with the intriguing story lines now. These may be the most interesting story angles put together in awhile before Wrestle Mania.

I think the thing that bothers me about Sheamus is that he's beating a guy like Christian now, instead of three months ago when they theoretically were on the same level. Now as WWE champ, he's supposed to be able to beat the ECW guy, who's only been wrestling rookies and older has beens and it just seems like a win over the ECW champ after you're the top Champ in the company isn't as significant as it would have been had it been a win in route to the WWE title

Cena can't be beat because he's some unholy genetic recombinate of superstars past. I mean, you might as well call him John "Realest of the Real, Sargent Rock - Cold - A - Mania" Cena.

Obviously you didn't knock the cat down first then stand in a corner waving your hand for the cat to get back up before you hit it ... mark. Now that would be a sight to see.
