Holy shit, that was Jan Hooks as Jenna's mom?! She looks, er, the years have not been kind. Last time I remember Jan Hooks in anything was her cameo in Batman Returns when Penguin bit her partner's nose and it gushed blood.
The biggest laugh for me was Jack's reaction to Jenna and Verna singing "Do That To Me One More Time". I had the same reaction.
Liz: "How are you not moved by this?" Jack: "Because I'm listening to the words."
The Paranormal Activity parody was a million billion times better than Paranormal Activity was.
Not enough Tracy by a longshot. But Liz's dream of being married to Jack and giving birth to a cartoon cat was great.
One of this season's episodes with the most cylinders fired on. I don't think Jenna has ever been the lead story before? I mean Liz & Jenna stuff, sure. I guess this was Jenna and Jack. A great and unusually touching turn by Jenna. And "You didn’t believe in me but I believed in myself. Just like the last scene of all movies!" is one of my favorite lines I ever did hear.
I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that most of that was make-up on Jan Hooks. Jack's powerpoint "No, Low, Go" presentation was brilliant. Jane Krakowski always delivers the most absurd Jenna lines with complete sincerity and straight-faced making them all the more funny.
Kirk, crackers are a family food. Happy families. Maybe single people eat crackers, we don't know. Frankly, we don't want to know. It's a market we can do without.

Maybe. If it was makeup, they did an undetectable job.
She is 52 I think, so it could go either way. We are so used to older Hollywood types with their faces frozen by surgery/injections that maybe we forget that a normal 52 year old can actually look, well, old.

I am completely and helplessly hooked on The WB's (soon to be CW's) Supernatural. Basic premise is that these two brothers deal with their differences to chase a demon that killed their mother and has consumed their father's life.
