So I don't see how one can make mean-spirited comments about one woman (Terri), and then get offended about mean-spirited comments being made about another woman (Molly).

How's this, then? Molly's normal looking woman. Making fun of her body is insulting because it insults a bunch of normal loking women at home who have asses the size of Molly's. Terri has visible ribs. Saying she should be fed isn't an insult, it's constructive criticism.

Also it's one sign vs. Lawler going on (and on, and on, and on) about Molly's butt.

Raw was pretty good-better than I expected.

RVD/X-Pac? Fun and flippy

I'm sorry I missed the Taker/Raven team up.

Molly's flinging of the Thighmaster was cute and funny, but I'd deeply enjoy it if she got some big mean guy, say Rhyno when he returns, to smash Lawler. Maybe a heel APA. Please, just once, I beg of you. And Vince, too, while you're at it.

Booker T is very over, and I wish he had won. King Booker! Emperor of allll the Suckas!

Harvard Chris was solid and good. If anyone can teach him "snooty heel" it's obviously Regal, but I was hoping he'd look to Regal for encouragement before slapping on some funky submission hold.

Vince's speech was good...I was wondering if he would mention the police stuff, but I'm glad he didn't. Heck, Stone Cold didn't "allegedly" beat Debra, Steve Williams did.

I knew "he" wasn't Stone Cold, but I really didn't expect the Rock. Rocky did a bang-up job out there; did anyone else get a kind of "evangelist" sound to his speech?

About Vince's speech. I noticed they introduced him as the "Chairman of the WWE" rather than "100% Owner". That to me was their way of saying "This is real. This isn't going to be cartoon character Vince McMahon who loves the ladies. A LOT. This is the real guy who runs the company." Or whatever. I had something else to say too, but I forgot what it was.

I'm waiting for the CRZcap for his wording, but it came off like "Fans, are you as amused by the antics of Booker and Goldust as we here at WWE Entertainment, Inc. are? If so, call now and pledge your support and we'll send you this free Booker and Goldust tote bag. Now, perhaps you'll enjoy this segment with people talking as well. Let's watch!" I wanted one after the nWo segment with UT reading a newspaper, then flipping it down to notice the camera so he could say "Oh, hello, folks! I'm TV's The Undertaker, and I'll be in action later tonight against that no-good Matt Hardy. Perhaps you would enjoy some footage from last week." He could have pulled that off.

Dr. Unlikely gets a hug from me.

Go on... touch it.

I thought Molly decking Coach was a start...what they really need is to:

#1 Turn Molly face, Trish works better as a heel. She does "arrogant" so well.

#2 Accomplish Molly's face turn by having her kick Lawler in the nuts...repeatedly.

In case you didn't guess...I'm kind of a mark for Molly and the whole "fat ass" thing is just demeaning.

I have to defend Lawler here. It's the storyline that sucks. The storyline IS about Molly's big rear. So when Lawler talks about that, he's putting the story over, like he's suppose to. Don't blame Lawler, blame the writers.

I'm not offended by the storyline, I mean, it's wrestling, I'm not exactly looking for high brow entertainment. But this story just doesn't entertain me very much, humor or otherwise.

What does that mean in respect to Rikishi's ass? Is it really really huge, and the tv only make it seem really huge?

We do not need to bring Rikishi into this...

The Womens' division is pretty much crap now anyway..the only actual wrestlers(not TE losers) in it are Jacqueline, Molly, and Ivory. Yet they all get jobbed out to Trish or whoever.

Yes the storyline sucks, but Lawler took the ball and ran with it a little too far, in my opinion. Most other matches, he just chucks out some lame wisecracks or squeals "LATINO HEEEEEAAATTTTT" 20 times. But in these Molly matches and segments, he has to have a piece of paper in front of him with prepared jokes about fat asses. He is sitting there at the table screaming to us about how pathetic she is because she's... a normal looking woman. He has a laundry list of bad jokes, and he is very enthusiastic in both his delivery and his insistance on throwing them all out there. "Ha Ha, she doesn't look like a crack ho." Yeah, makes me proud to be a wrestling fan.

But there is a bit of hope, if WWE is going to turn Molly face, like cranlsn suggested. Maybe they actually recognized the fact that the fans don't think there's anything wrong with Molly. I hope so.

It's just like the WWF to bury talents like Molly and Ivory while pushing horrible workers like Lita and Trish Stratus..heh..Lita was trained by Matt Hardy to my understanding..

Wasn't Lita wrestling before she met the Hardys?

I think Lita was hooked up with the Hardyz before she entered ECW. I heard somewhere they all trained at the same place.

The one and maybe the only thing I give Lita is she really lucked out i her character. It connected right off the bat with the fans. She is probabley the only woman in the WWE that they protected her character very well. Very few times she gets protrayed or doing something that damages her character (unlike the WWE does to others divas, which we have discussed in this very thread). And hell what other diva gets to do there move on men every single week for a instant pop. Well no other girl.

I think the thing that made Lita popular is the same thing that makes her horrible. She somehow got in her head that "hey I got over huge with 3 moves, I don't need anything else" Well it shows it on her matches, to fill just 3 or 4 minutes. Lita seems lost in there. sloppy to unrealistic basic offense (her punches are a joke). Her selling seems to be in slow motion. Her matches are so hurky jerky is the best way of putting it... What made me a really annoyed by Lita was when the fed give her and her boyz a 3 month suspension, err vacation. She came back the same unlike...

Trish who came back after months off a lot more improved then before, and she went off to heal an ankle injury and improved. She came back and doing all these great little things like getting slammed sell her hip/back, get in a submission move scream in pain. small stuff. What makes it even better in a shot interview with a local paper, all the stuff I noticed she said herself is what she worked on when injured. She said she studied tape of the guys to look at all the little things (how could u not luv that..lol). She's a great bumper and Trish's offense basics is solid enough, her forearms seem to actually connect and her chic kick seems stiff enough. And some flashy stuff like her new handstand to the turnbuckle to a headscissor flip (Stratusphere?)... I don't think Trish has the natural inring talent Molly has, but Trish's heart is in the right place and really gives it her all. Trish definitly earned my respect. Despite her lame character.

Several comments on the earlier posts..

1- its not just the storyline that is crap, it's Lawler's lame commentary focussing on her ass.
If he was putting over the story, he should take her side as he is the heel announcer remember (or 'sposed to be at least)
And yeah, the story IS crap, but Lawler makes it crappier.

2- Trish not a wrestler? OK. She might be new to this (as in only 3 years or so?) but heh..she works hard, looks credible in the ring and is willing to take bumps and all.
That makes her a wrestler in my book.

Molly used to be a gymnast I believe so that explains why she can do all that sweet stuff, Ivory has many years of experience. Trish is way up ther with them.
I rank her higher than Jackie (come on! everybody can beat Crash! *grin*)

Other Raw stuff? Hmm..I have yet to see it..sounds fun though..
