I sat down to study and put the game on. A nice little touch; the Saints signed Deuce McAllister yesterday and he lead them out onto the field at the start of the game with Reggie Bush. After that, Reggie Bush had 200 all-purpose yards with two touchdowns. The Saints RAMPAGED through the Cardinals, and most importantly the defense stepped up.

Overall, the Cowboys or Vikings will have their hands full.

You know, I really don't know what to put here. Close your eyes and thank of something funny!

Next week, the saints sign Bobby Hebert or Russell Erxleben.

And if they play the Colts in teh Super Bowl, they sign Archie.

And people were complaining about how boring the games were last week. Between this game and the one in Indy, today's offerings were total suckfests. NO just destroyed Arzona. I really thought after the Hightower run that the Cardinals were more than game for the Saints. How wrong I was. Now I have to hope that the Saints can do this again next sunday cause I will be incredibly annoyed if Favre or the Cowboys represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

Out of the two games, so far, I would not want to play NO. Of course, the Cards have a bad defense, but this was just an Stone Cold Ass Whooping from beginning to end. The Ravens shot themselves in the foot every time they came close to scoring. Tomorrow's game will hopefully be better.

Exactly what ESPN have YOU been watching? If I have to hear one more time about how New Orleans is "America's Team" I'm going to puke.

There wasn't ANY of that this week. It was all about Warner and his playoff invincibility and the Saints' losing streak and possible rustiness. There weren't but a small handful of people who said anything positive about the Saints.

Now, that said, let me echo the sentiment that New Orleans better keep this up. I do not want to see Favre or the Cowboys in the Super Bowl.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/picks

Half of the experts (four) on that page picked the Saints. Throw in the fan votes, and the Saints had 6/10 picks for them.

Anyone who picked the Cards over the Saints was justified in doing so. As far as anybody could tell the game was a toss-up. It's not like the Cards were favored or that anyone said Saints had no shot. I feel like your intense Saints homerism would not be satiated unless the Saints were favored by 9 TDs by every analyst with a pulse.

But since you don't seem to understand what I was getting at, I'll repeat what YOU said before, and what I said before, and leave it at that.

Arizona shot themselves in the foot in that game; turnovers cost them or at least made the game less competitive (not taking anything away from the Saints) but it may have been a more competitive game if the Cards didn't fold under pressure. The Saints though took advantage and used their high-octane offense to turn the Cards turnovers into points which is what good teams do.

If there is a blowout by any team in the NFC Championship game, I will be surprised (but I am rooting for the Saints against Favre and the Vikes so if the Vikes lose big, I won't be disappointed).
