Did you know there's a PPV this Sunday? Here's the predictions thread for the least-publicized, most-thrown-together PPV of the year! (Yes, that's my first prediction!)
All descriptions from tnawrestling.com. Only one gimmick match, and it's the relatively staid 2-out-of-3 falls? Weird.
The debut of the newest TNA Wrestling Major Superstar Acquisition - who will it be?! I'm not excited about any of the possibilities. I think the best options (among the people that would be considered "Major Superstars" by TNA) are RVD and Ken Anderson. Hopefully it's not Sid Vicious. I'll predict Anderson.
The Pope vs Desmond Wolfe Should be good. Wolfe needs a PPV win, and this is it.
Sean Morley vs Daniels Here's Morley's chance to show us if he has anything left. I hate his gimmick but I'll try to have an open mind here. Is Morley here to put people over or is he actually going to be pushed? I will be disappointed when Morley wins.
TNA X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP Amazing Red vs. (to be announced that night) I am guessing that they want this to be Jeff Hardy, but they're not sure he'll make it. So: if it's Hardy, he wins. If it's anyone else, Red retains.
TNA KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS ODB (champion) vs Tara I can't keep track of the title bouncing back and forth this quickly! Tara wins.
TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The British Invasion (champs) vs “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan and Hernandez Even though they're getting a tag shot, Morgan & Hernandez seem like an afterthought these days. Their Main Event aspirations look to be out the window, so they'll get the belts here as a consolation.
“The Monster” Abyss vs “The Boss” Bobby Lashley Raaaaaandom! Lashley wins.
Beer Money, Inc. vs Kevin Nash and Scott Hall Hall and Nash win, and challenge Morgan & Hernandez for the belts next month.
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH KURT’S ANGLE LAST SHOT AT AJ STYLE’S WORLD TITLE IN 2010 AJ Styles (champion) vs Kurt Angle I'm split. In my nightmares, I imagine Angle wins and then loses to Hogan. I think it's a toss-up, so I'll say Styles retains, because that's what I want to see, and I think AJ needs it.

Last 5 movies seen: Moon ****1/2 - Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs ****1/2 - 9 *** - Fantastic Mr. Fox ****1/2 - District 9 ****
The debut of the newest TNA Wrestling Major Superstar Acquisition - who will it be?! Mr. Anderson aka the wrestler known as Mr. Kennedy. Underwhelming at its finest.
The Pope vs Desmond Wolfe Wolfe. It should be a good clash of styles match.
Sean Morley vs Daniels Daniels. At least, I hope its Daniels.
TNA X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP Amazing Red vs. (to be announced that night) I am going to say Jeff Hardy who wins it and drops it back to someone who is more deserving then Amazing Red before he goes to jail.
TNA KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS ODB (champion) vs Tara Tara wins in what will be a redemption match from the last PPV match. Maybe even some more Tara ass since its PPV.
TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The British Invasion (champs) vs “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan and Hernandez British Invasion. I know people online like the team, but there are better teams like MCMG or Beer Money or anyone else that should have these titles.
“The Monster” Abyss vs “The Boss” Bobby Lashley Lashly in what will be a squash.
Beer Money, Inc. vs Kevin Nash and Scott Hall Beer Money after Hall fucks up which leads to tense with the Band.
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH KURT’S ANGLE LAST SHOT AT AJ STYLE’S WORLD TITLE IN 2010 AJ Styles (champion) vs Kurt Angle I say AJ wins after Flair interferes hopefully leading to an AJ heel turn or Sting/Flair fighting over AJ's soul.
I thought Nasty Boys/Team 3D were on the card if so, I pick Team 3D and what should be a bloody squash to get these parasites out of the company.
The newest Superstar Acquisition...? I'm gonna say Sid Vicious. Not sure who Kennedy or RVD are close to but I know that Sid and Hall are friends.
The Pope vs Desmond Wolfe Wolfe wins it.
Sean Morley vs Daniels How is it that Daniels goes from fighting in the main event to being mid card against SEAN Freaking MORLEY? Wow. I want to say Daniels, but I'm going with Morley. You really think any of the Hoganites will lose tonight?
Amazing Red vs. (???) I'm going for The Unknown Wrestler. I wish Jerry Lynn were still with TNA. I'm guessing it's Jeff. Is TNA that predictable?
ODB vs Tara I can't stand ODB, so I'll go with Tara.
The British Invasion (tag champs) vs “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan and Hernandez British Invasion retain the titles.
Abyss vs “The Boss” Bobby Lashley Lashley wins the match, continuing their storyline. Abyss deserves better than this abyssmal (har!) angle.
Beer Money, Inc. vs Kevin Nash and Scott Hall Hall and Nash win (duh) with shenanigans from He Who Is Debuting Tonight. Too bad, too: BMI are infinitely more entertaining than the Outsiders. Wonder if they're allowed to use that name?
AJ Styles (champion) vs Kurt Angle Logic would suggest that if Styles beats Angle, but loses the title to someone else, then the stipulation here is null and void, so I see Styles winning it. I'm really loving the interaction between these two though.
This reeks of the Spring Stampede after the Russo/Bischoff regime debuted, as it was a total throwaway PPV with more angles than wrestling.
The TNA Impact Player I said this in the Impact thread, so I'll reiterate it here. No chance it's Austin. The right choice is Goldberg. But the likely choice is Kennedy.
The Pope vs Desmond Wolfe I think the discarding of Orlando Jordan is too good to be true. Wolfe wins after a Jordan run-in.
Sean Morley vs Daniels If Morley was able to come back after an STO and BME, what hope does Daniels have? Morley wins.
TNA X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP Amazing Red vs. (to be announced that night) No one on the X Division warrants the "mystery opponent" treatment, so I'll go with Jeff Hardy. Hardy wins the title in a squash.
TNA KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS ODB (champion) vs Tara I don't know who's champion and I don't care. ODB wins.
TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The British Invasion (champs) vs “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan and Hernandez Miscommunication leads to Morgan turning on Hernandez to set up that barnburner of a feud. The Brits retain.
“The Monster” Abyss vs “The Boss” Bobby Lashley Lashley wins and Abyss gets lost in the shuffle.
Beer Money, Inc. vs Kevin Nash and Scott Hall It's clear to me that they're going full-speed ahead towards an Outsiders (but don't call them that!)/Team 3D feud. Hall and Nash win.
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH KURT’S ANGLE LAST SHOT AT AJ STYLE’S WORLD TITLE IN 2010 AJ Styles (champion) vs Kurt Angle They seem to be adamant about building up Styles as a champion. So I'll say Styles retains before getting challenged by the mystery impact player.
MacGruber! Making life-saving inventions out of household materials! MacGruber! Getting in and out of ultra-sticky situations! MacGruber! The guy's a freakin' genius! MACGRUBER!
Good luck getting that theme song out of your head
The TNA Impact Player It's gotta be someone Hogan knows, so I'm thinking Goldberg. Ken Kennedy seems like an option, but he isn't really a 'Star', Rikishi keeps popping in my head, but that might be pushing the 'Star' word as well.
The Pope vs Desmond Wolfe TNA seems pretty high on The Pope. Desmond Wolfe losing here won't really hurt him because he just beat Samoa Joe for gods sake. Orlando Jones will get involved here, for sure
Sean Morley vs Daniels Daniels wins here. Morley doesn't need to win, he'll be over no mater what with 'the ladies' or so TNA thinks anyway.
TNA X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP Amazing Red vs. (to be announced that night) Even though he didn't say anything about it when I met him. The 'wrestling company landscape' has changed dramaticly in the past few months and I'm gonna guess a debuting RVD here. He's perfect for the XDivision and I don't think TNA would be so stupid, business wise, as to throw Jeff Hardy in here.
TNA KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP - 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS ODB (champion) vs Tara ODB wins, but with interference by Kong and Hamada setting up a tag match at the next PPV perhaps?
TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The British Invasion (champs) vs “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan and Hernandez Morgan and Hernandez win here. The Brits lose because of miss-communication.
“The Monster” Abyss vs “The Boss” Bobby Lashley Lashley wins and Abyss gets totally destroyed.
Beer Money, Inc. vs Kevin Nash and Scott Hall Hall and Nash win. People keep saying how Beer Money is the best tag team in TNA not named MCMG, so it's probably time to start splitting them up.
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH KURT’S ANGLE LAST SHOT AT AJ STYLE’S WORLD TITLE IN 2010 AJ Styles (champion) vs Kurt Angle I think Angle wins with Ric Flairs help, screwing AJ Styles. It's better having a heel champ with the scrappy good guy trying to get the title back.
New Superstar: Rowdy Roddy Piper. Can't pass up 25 years later the combatants from Wrestlemania face each other.
Pope vs. Wolfe: Pope after Orlando Jones interference backfires.
'Friend of Hogan' Morley vs. 'Not a Friend of Hogan' Daniels: Morley.
Amazing Red vs. My guess Sean Waltman: When in doubt, go with the Duggan vs. Austin precedent. Waltman.
ODB vs. Tara: Tara, unless Wendi Richter somehow shows up.
British Invasion vs. Hernandez/Morgan: Hernandez/Morgan win titles, to set up where the titles go next.
Abyss vs. Bobby Lashley: Lashley
Beer Money vs. S.E. Hinton novel: Only question is how many 'cool' 15 year old hand signals get thrown during the match. Outsiders.
Angle vs. Styles: Styles wins via Flair interfence that Styles didn't want, conflicting him on whether to give Angle another shot, while Angle claims that since our glorious Chinese overlords truly run this country, his not getting a title shot for the rest of the year should only go via the Chinese calendar.

I think the best options (among the people that would be considered "Major Superstars" by TNA) are RVD and Ken Anderson. Hopefully it's not Sid Vicious. I'll predict Anderson.
Hmm I have no Idea but damn it would be sweet if it was either Sid or RVD. Have you seen Sid and Scott halls talk show thing, this would be fantastic!! I was hoping for Jake the Snake personally, he could do the whole 'You got 21, I got 22' deal again, it would be unreal.
The Pope vs Desmond Wolfe Should be good. Wolfe needs a PPV win, and this is it.
I like the pope from the 1 time i saw him so i'll go with him
Sean Morley vs Daniels Here's Morley's chance to show us if he has anything left. I hate his gimmick but I'll try to have an open mind here. Is Morley here to put people over or is he actually going to be pushed? I will be disappointed when Morley wins.
Meh, hopefully morely can wrestle decently, I do remember Daniels from a looooonnnngg time ago, so he can go, but overall, who cares, hopefully someone comes in from the crowd, maybe Saturn, if he's alive
TNA X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP Amazing Red vs. (to be announced that night) I am guessing that they want this to be Jeff Hardy, but they're not sure he'll make it. So: if it's Hardy, he wins. If it's anyone else, Red retains.
This will probably be good. I go with mystery opponent whoever that is, where is like Psychosis, and Kidman and The juice these days? I want it to be one of them. Sign em TNA
TNA KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS ODB (champion) vs Tara I can't keep track of the title bouncing back and forth this quickly! Tara wins.
I'll go for ODB cuz her name is fucking ODB
TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The British Invasion (champs) vs “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan and Hernandez Even though they're getting a tag shot, Morgan & Hernandez seem like an afterthought these days. Their Main Event aspirations look to be out the window, so they'll get the belts here as a consolation.
This appears to be a tag match of some description
“The Monster” Abyss vs “The Boss” Bobby Lashley Raaaaaandom! Lashley wins.
This one seems cool, I will say Abyss wins by DQ, Lashley is a beast, hope he makes it in his mma shit I think he has a strikeforce deal or some crap
Beer Money, Inc. vs Kevin Nash and Scott Hall Hall and Nash win, and challenge Morgan & Hernandez for the belts next month.
Good God I can't wait for this shit. I hope so much that Scott doesn't get too fucking hammered and can atleast make the match. I mean, I want him drunk, but he needs to get to the ring. I expect great shit, hopefully [Pleassseeee!!!] a little 'survey time', lots more talking (from Hall, not Nash), and a quick match, Razor with the 123 interference from 6pac.
I can't stand AJ styles, and I love Kurt Angle, so I hope he mangles him.
I will not be ordering this ppv but will def get around to watching it by torrent or something, then i'll review. Waaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking it's GOTTA be a spoof account with someone who thinks he's displaying a very dry sense of humor in his purposefully exaggerated outlandishness.
You know what... I wanna add to my predictions that Hogan will ONLY get in the ring to talk. NOT to wrestle. He will NOT try to go for the TNA World Title.
I think the people that think that Hogan wants the belt are retarded and I'm thinking Hogan will NOT attempt to hold the belt this year.

It will not happen.
Hogan goes for the belt at some point this year just for historical purposes. Since it is being represented that this is the beginning of the decade and not '11, then should Hogan (or Flair for that matter) win the World Title, they tie Thesz for winning a world championship in 4 different decades. Now, if the Crockett Tag Belts are officially considered the NWA World Tag Titles in the 70's, then Flair, should he win any form of a world championship (singles or tag team) would hold a form of a world title in 5 decades, which would be difficult for anyone to duplicate.
