Well, I guess they're both to be commended for changing it up and not picking against the Rams, but looks like nearly half the people still alive are losing in the final week as Denver goes down big to the Chiefs.
In hindsight, who was left for each man to pick (and how they did today):
carnage BUF CAR CLE DET GNB JAC KAN MIA NYG NYJ OAK SEA SFO STL TAM WAS Goon ATL BUF CAR CLE DEN DET HOU JAC KAN MIA NYJ OAK SEA SFO STL TAM
Depending on what the Jets do, there was still about a 50/50 chance randomly picking from who was left, even at this late date. That's...interesting? Expected? Dunno.
I also wonder if Carnage would have picked the Broncos if he hadn't done so already.
I ALSO wonder if not picking the 49ers was psychological or just following CRZ's good ol' rule of not selecting a road team if you can avoid it.
I had SFO as my pick until this morning but figured fortune favors the bold and changed it to the J-E-T-S. I wish I would have kept it when I saw The Goon selected Denver, as I really don't want to stay up and watch this game tonight.
I probably would have taken Denver too if I still had them in play...glad that decision was out of my hands. :)
When you consider how much he was loved by Oakland and Raiders fans during the 70's, it makes his decline all the more tragic. According to this, Davis has stated that he will not retire until he wins two more SuperBowls. Considering he is 2.
