Hey, so I hadn't done this in forever because I didn't have an Internet connection that could support sending the information, but I want to resume participating in F@H again. However, I just downloaded the version that is supposedly for Mac OS 10.5.x, and I get an error after installing saying I "cannot open this application because it is not supported on this architecture." I have no idea what this means. Any help?

Did you get the correct processor version? There is probably an Intel and PPC version. I haven't done the mac setup at all.

If that's not enough reply here and I'll go do the actual research later when I see this at home.

Well here is a thread in the F@H support forum detailing this very problem on the newest Mac OSX client. One person there proposes a solution that involves running the command line version, but I'd really prefer to use ... whatever the not-command-line version one is called, simply because I'm already familiar with it. I've got the right one for my processor, it's some other problem.

The biggest announcement for me, as someone who hasn't upgraded to Leopard yet, was the Mac Box Set (store.apple.com). It's a bundle containing Leopard, iLife '09 and iWork '09 for $169. Hopefully the education discount will be applicable.
