I think its highly possible we may have two 16-0 teams come playoff time. The Saints and Colts have a fairly simple 3 games now.

Saints got the Cowboys(Right on course in tanking)at home then the Bucs and Panthers. Who Dat!

Colts next three Jags, Jets, Bills.

Unless the Colts rest Manning I really don't see the Colts losing and much like the Colts I only see the Saints losing if Brees is given limited number of plays or does not play at all.

Should be fun to see these two teams in the playoffs.

The Redskins and Miami games prove that New Orleans has flaws. Even with the lopsided status of the NFC South, I think any game between those teams is a potential loss. If John Fox can beat the Saints in the season's last game, he might have more leeway for next season's team structure.

I'd rather see these teams meet in the Super Bowl with losses than see them lose in the playoffs to a significantly flawed team that peaks at the right time.

Colts will lose to Jets, Saints to Panthers. That's if they lose.

I will go out on a limb and say neither one will make the Super Bowl either way.

Still may not save his job. Not with Bill Cowher according to some sources itching to return. Charlotte right in his (Cowher's)backyard.

Everybody seems to be on the Viks/Iggles bandwagon. Lets not forget The Cards exposing the Viks and the Iggles choking to the Raiders.

The Saints MAY go 16-0, but will lose their first playoff game.

Saints might run the table. Either way they win the Superbowl (yeah, I said it). The Colts will likely lose one....but I wouldn't be shocked to see Caldwell go for 16-0 if they win the next two.

Both the Vikings and the Eagles simply played poorly and lost in those games. It happens. Sorry, but I hate the way near every loss by a good team these days is either over-analysed to the Nth degree (THIS is how to beat them, see, they were never that good!) or chalked up to a choke job. The Saints were only a botched 20 yard figgie away from being exposed by/choking against the Skins by that logic.

The Saints' season is very similar to the Pats' unbeaten year. They started out blowing out anyone and everyone, but since the midway point of the season they've frequently played down to the level of the opposition.

If the month wasn't December and the Cowboys weren't the Cowboys I'd expect Dallas to beat them, but it is and they are, so they should make 16-0. Still say the Vikings are just a horrible match-up for New Orleans come playoff time though.

The Colts are probably more likely to lose in the regular season, possibly to Jacksonville. There's less to fear for them in the playoffs but San Diego are playing very nicely indeed now and could give them some problems.

The question I have now is, when does Mercury Morris crawl out of his hole and start popping up on Sportscenter? Like the tides, it's inevitable.

Hard to say whether they'll go 16-0. The Colts seem to have this idea that it's better to sit their starters once home field's in the bag, but what bothers me about that is that they've DONE that before and it led to them being rusty as all hell in the playoffs. But if they don't want to learn from their own history, you can only shrug as they're doomed to repeat it. Especially when the Chargers have proven to have some kind of Manning Kryptonite.

The Saints might be ready to fall this Sunday. The Cowboys are in panic mode and Romo's on the verge of being run out of Dallas on a rail (in spite of the fact that none of the Cowboys' ills are his fault at all). I think they'll be ready to respond and exploit the banged-up New Orleans running game.

But honestly, I'd personally love to see both the Colts and Saints run the table and meet in the Super Bowl, just to see how many ratings records the Super Bowl can break.

I can't believe that the Colts, by all appearances, at going to do the 'rest the starters' thing again even when they're 13-0. At what point does pride kick in and management realizes that they have a chance at history? You know the players are itching to take a crack at perfection. Plus, pulling off a perfect season would be the ultimate way of sticking it to their rivals in New England.

Hate the Saints. Couldn't be happier!

EDIT: Being an idiot, I just now realized this eliminated the Falcons from playoff contention. No longer happy. Dammit!

In his defense, he's hardly the only person to think so.

Then again, Dallas beating NO goes with my 'if everyone thinks something will happen, go with the opposite' (hence why I think Boise will beat TCU and Texas will crush Bama, but thats another topic)

Yeah so they choked one, but still a #1 seed. How's the Favre honeymoon going in VikingLand?

Could have two 1 loss teams in the SB.

Also,

Look at it this way, The Falcons got saved from being embarrassed by the Cardinals in the playoffs again.

Have a Nice Day!

Haha! I read that article, too! I chuckle at the thought of kids in Africa wearing T-shirts from four different seasons declaring the Buffalo Bills to be Super Bowl champions. (Of course, I don't begrudge them the shirts).

I should sadly warn you that the Saints Superbowl shirts will not make it to El Salvador because they are already on the market and being sold at a good rate. Not my idea.

If there's any karmic justice in the world, the Colts will get blown out in their first playoff game.

There's no reason to assume that wouldn't have happened anyway.

This move was overdue. Seau has had injury issues the last couple of years, he's 34, and he has lost a step or two. I still think he can bring it, but the Chargers need to think about the future of their LB corps.
