I was glad to read that this new Zelda game will not use th same dungeon over and over again. That was the thing that made me give up the last game about 1/3 way through.

The puzzles are a fair amount more clever, as well, and the train is way more fun than sailing.

I certainly hope so, as I also gave up on the last Zelda DS game. It was no fun to draw stuff in order to advance the story. In fact, this would have been an easy first day purchase especially after the great Zelda Minish Cap game, but because of the last game I think I will have to pass (or at least ask for it for Christmas).

I did actually play through the last game (man sure tells you something that none of us can remember the exact name...) but I'm trying to wait until I finish my library books before buying it.

The only thing I remember having to draw was the triforce. The "close the DS to copy the map" thing and blowing into the mic for puzzle answers really bugged me. I didn't mind using the stylis, that felt natural. I only figured out the map thing when I snapped the game closed in anger. I think I eventually thought of blowing out the candles, but I didn't think it would actually work when I did it. The repetitive dungeon should have given you the teleporter one or two levels before it did. I think if they gave you a teleporter every three levels that would have kept more people from giving up on the game. It felt like lazy game design to make you retread stuff so much.

According to Joystiq's review (joystiq.com), you do have to go back to the same central location over and over, but you don't have to repeat a section of it you've already done.

But those god damned Phantoms are back. I'm not happy about that.

They're not that bad, really. The thing that I don't like are the insta-death trains that you have to run around and try to avoid on the overworld.

Anyone start playing these yet in NCAA 2004. I have unlocked a lot, but the Stanford/Cal, and the hail mary pass are very difficult ones to achieve. Any advice on the best way to do these? P.S. I found this for touchdown celebrations (PS2)
