The most insane person I've been following lately has to be Coach Coley, FSU OC. He tweets as he goes around recruiting and while I don't understand him much I love it.
Wil Wheaton - I had never heard of this guy before. I'm pretty sure I've never seen anything he's ever been in. But I love him.
Bill Amend - guy who writes Foxtrot
A host of ESPN personalities covering college football and the NFL. Trey Wingo is the most interesting Tweeter out of them.
I did follow Bill Simmons, but I had to stop because he is SO ANNOYING. Everything he Tweets is either some whiny bullshit or some stupid hair-brained theory he throws out there for no discernable reason. Oh wait, just like his columns. I guess it's my own fault.
Pro Bowl cornerback Mike Jenkins
The Jack in the Box mascot. He's good for a laugh a day typically.
And then a bunch of people already mentioned in this thread. FakeAPStylebook I'll throw another shout out to, that thing is high comedy.

Unless I am confusing him with someone else (his Twitter handle is wilw, right?), he starred as Wesley Crusher in the Star Trek: The Next Generation series.

Yes, that's him, and I know that now, but I've never seen Star Trek.

Yes, that's him, and I know that now, but I've never seen Star Trek.
Other than Wesley Crusher, he's most known as one of the kids from "Stand By Me". Not River Phoenix, not Corey Feldman, not Jerry O'Connell (the fat one), but the other one.
My updated list of people I follow is: ActuallyNPH (Neil Patrick Harris) StephenAtHome (Stephen Colbert, infrequently updated) TravisYanan (Travis Yanan, the guy I get cable TV ratings from) FakeAPStylebook (the name speaks for itself) TFLN (the best submissions to the textsfromlastnight.com website) KenTremendous (Mike Schur, writer of "The Office" and "Parks and Recreation"; Dwight's cousin Mose; previously "Ken Tremendous" of FireJoeMorgan.com) sportsguy33 (Bill Simmons) wootoff (woot.com, which specializes in selling one product per day. When they are in woot-off, they have stuff that is available for sale while supplies last, which is sometimes only 5 minutes). AlYankovic ("Weird Al" Yankovic, who correctly guessed that he would be losing the Grammy to Stephen Colbert). wilw (Wil Wheaton) jim_sterling (Jim Sterling, controversial writer of video game website destructoid.com) levarburton (Levar Burton, yet another Star Trek: TNG alum. I had Brent Spiner as well, but I think I got annoyed with him) asym (Asymmetric Productions, the makers of "Kingdom of Loathing") zefrank, JonathanCoulton, JohnCleese, PaulandStorm (pretty sure I mentioned them all previously) and various webcomics people (cwgabriel, rstevens, wigu, pvponline, krisstraub, loresjoberg, hijinksensue) and oh yeah, all of the characters from the webcomic Questionable Content (fayewhitaker, tai_fighter, marigoldfarmer, pintsize0101, penelopegaines, hanneloreEC, dorabianchi, martenreed, XxSexyRavenxX, and svenbianchi). The creator of that comic has his characters communicating with each other on twitter! Absolutely insane!
Like 14 or 15 thousand people since he started his account yesterday, I follow @CraigyFerg
it is kind of fascinating watching him figure Twitter out
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.
That the universe was formed by a fortuitous concourse of atoms, I will no more believe than that the accidental jumbling of the alphabet would fall into a most ingenious treatise of philosophy - Swift
Hold up -- Lauren Bacall -- Lauren Bacall -- has a Twitter!? That is simultaneously totally surreal and totally awesome.
What does she have to say about the Oscars?
"oh yes why do starlets today have such bad posture? That Montana girl and that Twilight girl slouch like potato sacks."
Ah ha ha ha!

I'm a confessed Twitter junkie. I don't actually tweet myself, but it certainly makes for interesting reading throughout the day. Here's a not-so brief list of people I've found are fun to follow:
For Laughs: @manvszombies - an awesome ongoing Twitter story about a zombie apocalypse @shitmydadsays - soon to be made into a sitcom w/ William Shatner. Seriously. @GaryJBusey - for obvious reasons @EricWareheim & @TimHeidecker @ConanOBrien @CraigyFerg @BrianLynch - not a big-time celeb really, but seriously, check him out @attell - Dave Attell. Doesn't tweet often, but I love the guy @danieltosh @SarahKSilverman @WhitneyCummings @thomaslennon - the genuine Lt. Dangle. His bedtime greetings are awesome. @thebrianposehn @amyschumer - from Last Comic Standing. I'm a fan. @DougBenson @JimNorton @JimGaffigan @rainnwilson @ThatKevinSmith - his tweets will eat up your inbox, but the majority of his tweets are golden @StephenColbert - sadly, not too much lately
Random Celebs: @DamonLindelof @CarltonCuse @hughhefner @JimCarrey @PaulMcCartney @ebertchicage - possibly the most entertaining person to follow on all of Twitter @billmaher @MMFlint @peeweeherman @RedHourBen @Jon_Favreau @majornelson - 360 scoops galore @jimmyfallon @drdrew @Agent_M - a Marvel employee who obsesses over tacos. A great read.
Wrestlers: @steveaustinBSR @TheRealMorrison @No1Knucklehead - Big Show. Doesn't tweet much. @OfficialTAZ @HeymanHustle - part Paul Heyman, part a plug for his website @RealZiggler @awesomekong @JeremyBorash @THETOMMYDREAMER @yougottaprice - Ted DiBiase Sr. @maryse0uellet @wwehornswoggle @trueKofi @JRsBBQ - always links to his blogs and answers fan questions constantly @howardfinkel @McCoolMichelleL @JCLayfield @RealKellyKelly @JerryLawler - mostly quiet lately @IAmJericho @mikethemiz @JoeyStyles @MariaLKanellis @wwejoshmatthews

Wow... Sorry about that, I usually check for that stuff before I follow someone but I started following him before all of that verification stuff came into play. It's been a while since I've watched Colbert Report, if you can't tell. Now excuse me while I go catch up on all of his tweets...

Sienfeld. I, like millions, used to love this, but after the finale clip show when they brought back so many minor characters, it became too clear that this wasn't a show about nothing, it was a show about whining.
