I mean...the helmet, gloves and shoes I can get behind. It being super light is neat. But otherwise....
That doesn't look like the right shade of red for the jersey; it looks more Cardinal/Falcon red than Seminole red. The all red with the half-feather down the leg is kinda cool, but it doesn't look like the right shade in those pictures. The red/black really looks Falcon-esque, though.
That pretty much sums it up for me. At first glance, it looked like a Falcons alternate setup. I'm not digging the goofy glove graphics nor the shoulder junk either.
If it was the uniform of an NFL expansion team, I would love it. However, it is not, and I do NOT support any team wanting to Oregon-ize their look, especially when it is a historical power that's had minimal uni-changes like Florida State.
Holy fuck shit motherfucker shit. Read comics. Fuck shit shit fuck shit I sold out when I did my job. Fuck fuck fuck shit fuck. Sorry had to do it....

well luckily for now it's just a one time deal with this design. I hear that Ohio State is one of the other nine teams participating in this Nike project.

Oh how I hope you and this article are both wrong. If not however, I seriously wonder how Texas' unis will look.
EDIT: Looks like it is definitely true. OSU is scheduled to wear these jerseys as 'throwbacks' for the scUM game. Click here to see it.

I've read detailed articles on Ohio State with quotes from their people. Their's will be based on a 1950's Ohio State championship team I believe. Not sure on Texas, that's the first I've heard on them.
I just want to know why Nike thinks crap graphics on shoulder pads look cool? They keep doing it and I haven't seen one single instance of it looking anything other than horrible.
Bowden really shouldn't be out after the early bird special. This is the question I have about Florida State though: Suppose Georgia takes a stupid pill and fires Richt off of this season. Florida State has never been the same since he left. Do the Seminoles have the money to pay off Bobby, pay off Fisher and pay Richt? And, has Harbaugh purchased a residence in Ann Arbor yet?
Yeah, saw that link already, but that's how he's been for years. Even in the 90's he couldn't tell you half the players names. But the race for wins is over anyway, unless Joe Pa retires this year and the NCAA gives Bobby back his. Neither is likely.
If Jimbo hadn't come along, we'd be thrilled with Richt. And Georgia would be retarded to fire him. Who do they think they'll get that's better?
But Jimbo has shown he knows how to run an offense, recruit and develop a QB too, so at this point we wouldn't trade him for Richt or anyone. I think he'll be a great head coach.
Question is who's gonna coach the defense. Rumors about them stealing a DC from the SEC or an NFL coach.
He can walk the quotes back by saying he wants Michigan players to be champions on the field, in the classroom and in the community, and then throw in a pointed shot at Ohio State for good measure. After going 4-0 and then only beating Delaware State the rest of the way, that might work.

Uh, no. When you burn your bridges here, your dead to Michigan (see: Chris Webber, Bill Frieder, Ty Law....). There's currently only two names that would appease Michigan fans (and they're chances of getting either probably equal their chance of beating OSU next weekend): Les Miles or Brian Kelly. Besides, there's no way RichRod is getting fired until after next season. No chance.
Although, perhaps if LSU fans continue to treat Miles the way Michigan fans treated Lloyd Carr, he may be convinced to leave after the 2010 season... unless Kirk Herbstreit decides to sabotage everything again.
I was gonna rip the fact that you were going to argue quite strongly that Bettis is a better back than Faulk, but then you mentioned that you didn't even know who Mike Martz is.
