Smackdown vs. Raw Seven-on-Seven Tag Match: Don't know yet if this is Elimination Style or not (I'd have to guess so), but I'll say Raw wins. Just looking at the two teams, Raw looks so much stronger. EDIT: Raw still looks stronger and maybe the guys who used to be in this match will cost the Smackdown team the contest.
The Undertaker vs. C.M. Punk vs. Batista vs. Rey Mysterio- Fatal Four-Way for the World Heavyweight Championship: Taker is banged up, so gotta get the belt off of him. I say Batista gets it here.
Randy Orton vs. John Cena- One Hour, Anything Goes Iron Man Match for the WWE Championship: Cena wins to stay on Raw, but going to Smackdown wouldn't be the worst idea. It would of course make everything about him there, but it would at least give some breathing room to younger guys on Raw. I do not like the constant switching of the titles, though.
John Morrison vs. The Miz: Gotta go Morrison here, if only because I've got too many Raw teams/people winning.
Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly & Melina vs. Beth Phoenix, Natalya, & Michelle McCool: The Raw Divas win when Beth turns face against McCool and Natalya.
If another match or two is added, I'll edit this post.
Smackdown vs. Raw Seven-on-Seven Tag Match: It's not elimination style says WWE.com. Elimination style is Survivor Series only. RAW wins.
The Undertaker vs. C.M. Punk vs. Batista vs. Rey Mysterio- Fatal Four-Way for the World Heavyweight Championship: Punk either wins it or keeps it after winning it on Friday.
Randy Orton vs. John Cena- One Hour, Anything Goes Iron Man Match for the WWE Championship: Cena.
John Morrison vs. The Miz: Smackdown.
Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly & Melina vs. Beth Phoenix, Natalya, & Michelle McCool: Smackdown.
I won't be watching, but anyone who is, have a good time.
Team Raw v. Team Smackdown!: I will agree with geemoney that the Raw team does look stronger and will go with team Raw for the 'W'.
Undertaker v. Batista v. CM Punk v. Rey Mysterio (Fatal 4-way for World Heavyweight Title): Undertaker, as mentioned, is banged up and probably won't retain the title. Rey Mysterio is on and off when it comes to the title picture so I think he has the least likelihood of winning it. Batista is the strong favorite (and my pick to win) but could potentially see Punk winning it and having a feud with Batista or even Rey.
Orton v. Cena (WWE Championship; anything goes Iron Man Match): This is the match I least look forward to because these 2 have fought so much is becoming more stale than bread that has been left out for months. As most people know (if not all), if Cena loses, he goes to Smackdown. Thinking on Vince's level and how much Cena sells, I think he will stay on Raw and winning back the championship. However, if Cena does lose, then a feud between Orton and Cena would be no more (that would be good). However, I am picking Cena to win and stay on Raw.
The Miz v. Morrison: I will actually pick Miz on this one because Morrison has been carrying momentum longer than Miz and I think Miz in order to stay a credible title holder, a win versus his old tag partner would add more credibility even though I know no titles are at stake here. It would also add value to Miz's heel status because the next night on Raw, you know he is going to brag if he wins.
Raw Divas v. Smackdown Divas: I will go with a minor outside prediction and say Mickie James will somehow be added to the Smackdown Divas and giving her team the win.
Smackdown 7. I know this is not the conventional wisdom, but here's what I'm thinking. This is not an elimination, so booking Raw to lose doesn't mean the big guns all have to eat a pin. Survivor Series looms, and it makes sense to carry this into another brand-vs.-brand match there. So I figure they give SD the win, to set up some sort of rematch where Raw goes over at SS.
Batista. Taker is too broken down, and Punk and Rey are both in the doghouse to an extent.
Cena. He ain't leaving Raw.
Morrison. I'd definitely book the Miz to win, as I think he benefits more and it doesn't really hurt JM. But I think they value JM more.
Raw divas. How weird is it that this match includes wrestlers who changed brands a couple weeks ago? I see them using this match to set up SD feuds as the SD divas fail to get along.
Ladies and gentlemen, the following public service message is brought to you by your friends from D-Generation X, who would like to remind each and every one of you that if you're not down with that, we've got two words for you... SD 7 over RAW 7. SD typically comes out ahead in these cross-brand battles (go look up the history, it's true), and as people have mentioned, you can have someone like Kofi eat the pin for the RAW team without having to make the big guns look weak. There's even a potential storyline: Big Show sells out his teammates for the sake of his tag team partner Jericho, gets traded to SD as a result in the aftermath as the centerpiece of a big move of bit players, DX gets revenge at Survivor Series by winning the tag titles.
Punk pins Rey to win the belt back. Only acceptable result as far as I'm concerned, as UT is too injured, Rey is too close to his suspension, and Batista would face the same problem UT has: a lack of credible heel challengers.
Cena and Orton draw. Yes, draw (like five falls apiece or something). It's obvious they want the belt on Orton, otherwise they wouldn't have moved it back last month. They don't want Cena off RAW since it's the flagship show. They also (SPOILER ALERT!) want this feud to continue, if house show cards in December are any indication. A draw is the best of both worlds: Keeps the feud going, keeps Cena on RAW (since he doesn't *lose*), keeps the belt on Orton.
Morrison wins, as his inevitable push towards the main event continues. He's in pretty much the same place Eddie Guerrero was in the fall of 2003 before he won his world title, and there's really no good reason to have him lose on PPV before he inevitably drops the IC belt to someone like Ziggler, McIntyre or Escobar.
Since SD wins the men's bragging rights match, RAW wins the divas one. geemoney's idea for the setup (a Beth face turn on her teammates) is a good one, mirroring my proposed move by Show well.
smark/net attack Advisory System Status is: Elevated (Holds; June 18, 2006) While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.
Smackdown vs Raw Seven-on-Seven Tag Match: Team RAW wins.
Undertaker vs CM Punk vs Batista vs Mysterio - Fatal Four-Way for the World Heavyweight Championship: Batista. I can't defend my pick. Call it a gut feeling.
Orton vs Cena - One Hour Iron Man Match for the WWE Championship: Orton. Cena goes to Smackdown, then gets traded back to Raw. Eventually.
Morrison vs The Miz: Morrison. This match has the potential to be very good.
Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly & Melina vs Beth Phoenix, Natalya, & Michelle McCool: Smackdown wins.
Smackdown vs. Raw: -I half expect ECW to get involved in some way shape or form. Regardless, SMACKDOWN wins it.
Undertaker vs. Punk vs. Batista vs. Mysterio: -Mysterio wins it.
Randy Orton vs. John Cena: If Cena wins, does that mean he's back on Raw even though he was kicked off the show after his match with HHH on Monday? I'm gonna go with Orton winning it.
John Morrison vs. The Miz: -The Miz win it, because he's awesome.
Kim, Kelly & Melina vs. Phoenix, Natalya, & McCool: -Team Phoenix wins it.
Is that really it for the matches? Wow. Glad I'm not buying the PPV!
Ok, so Finlay, R-Truth, the Hart Dynasty and Matt Hardy have replaced Cryme Tyme, Drew McIntyre, Eric Escobar and Dolph Ziggler on the Smackdown team. Adjust your picks accordingly.
You know what I just did? I checked my old predictions of former PPV's (yes I am that desperate, thanks for asking), and seeing how horribly wrong I used to be, I am here to CONTINUE THIS STREAK!:-)
Smackdown vs. Raw:
The point is to show that Raw is the superior brand, right? Raw wins, clean.
Undertaker vs. Punk vs. Batista vs. Mysterio:
Has there ever been a title change in a fatal fourway match? Taker retains.
Orton vs. Cena:
Cena, because Orton really should win. Wait.....in the past I always predicted the person I didn't want to win to win, just because they always won (does this make any sense? Ah, who cares?). So now this should finally end, and I gotta pick Orton. But if it finally happens here that I pick the guy I want to win, I will be screwed over, because then the guy who should not win wins, as the guy who should win won't win because I picked the guy who should win to win, resulting in that guy losing. Yeah, this is me attempting to be funny. It's no wonder that I only made 200 posts in 7 years, right? Cena wins.
John Morrison va. The Miz:
Tough one. I'm going with The Miz.
Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly & Melina vs. Beth Phoenix, Natalya, & Michelle McCool:
Melina pins Beth.
I actually think that having only 5 matches is a good decision, and should give them time for the matches (besides the Iron Man, duh!), especially for the 7 on 7.
Cena wins the Iron Man and hopefully holds the title until at least Wrestlemania. Orton goes on to feud with Dibiase as Legacy explodes.
Undertaker wins the four-way. Though UT is banged up, they can just limit him to one title defense on a PPV per month to keep him fresh. I'm also trying to look long-term at a possible Wrestlemania 26 match between UT and Cena for a unified world title --- best possible main event, imo.
Team Raw beats Team Smackdown. I like the idea of JeriShow just laying out both teams and walking off claiming that the two of them are the dominant side in WWE, making the match six-on-six.
Smackdown divas beat the Raw divas.
Morrison beats Miz, as SD wins the two 'lesser' matches to claim some bragging rights overall but Raw wins the big one.
(edited by Big Bad on 25.10.09 0230) Kirk, crackers are a family food. Happy families. Maybe single people eat crackers, we don't know. Frankly, we don't want to know. It's a market we can do without.
Originally posted by griffCena beats Orton. Please let this be the end of the feud!
It's only the end if Orton wins. If Cena wins, Orton is entitled to a rematch, and he isn't leaving the show, unless he has to put that up to get a rematch after his rematch. Orton/Cena, the 2000's upper card version of the Jimmy Valiant/Paul Jones Army War.
Team Raw v. Team Smackdown!: hmmmm... This actually looks interesting, I'll go with Smackdown after Big Show leaves one (or both) of DX for dead.
Undertaker v. Batista v. CM Punk v. Rey Mysterio (Fatal 4-way for World Heavyweight Title): CM Punk wins, and moves on to feud with Rey or Batista, and Undertaker takes a break and comes back to feud with Vince
Orton v. Cena (WWE Championship; anything goes Iron Man Match): Is this an hour long Iron man match? Cena wins. They are not going to send there best draw to the "second" brand
The Miz v. Morrison: Morrison wins, but Miz attacks after the match and stands tall
Raw Divas v. Smackdown Divas: Raw divas win because I picked Smackdown to win the big one.
