No one's talked about ECW in a while.

Lauren Mayhew, Lillian 2.0, did the ring announcing, although I don't think they identified her or actually showed her on camera except briefly when she was standing in the corner of the ring or scampering to her seat after a match started. Her delivery needs work, but I was impressed they made her announce each wrestler's hometown and weight. She seemed to read the weights like she was impressed.

Tiffany is back with her left arm in a sling. I gotta say, I love the way William Regal smiles at her. Half-disingenuously, half-"I want to kiss this strumpet and give her the Regal Stretch." She also acknowledged the possibility of John Cena losing at Bragging Rights and coming to ECW. Dream big, Tiffany.

I never really thought about it before last night but is Tiffany, attractive Southern woman, being GM of ECW in some way a commentary on Dixie Carter and TNA? Anyone care to weigh in on that?

Kozlov and Ezekiel beat Dreamer and Goldust. Plodding and ugly.

Yoshi Tatsu beat Regal but they made a huge deal of Regal's foot being underneath the bottom rope. Which it was. The referee was out of position.

I had to LOL over the timing of Lauren's announcement: "Here is your winner - Christian!" when Christian was flat on his back after getting triple teamed with the Ruthless Roundtable standing over him.

Shut out of Hell in a Cell and maybe out of Bragging Rights (RAW vs. Smackdown in a battle of brand supremacy!), ECW is becoming its own insular world. But hey, they might get John Cena!

Regal's disingenuous smile was fantastic. I missed a couple of weeks - whatever happened to Goldust's feud with Sheamus? That was actually getting pretty fun the last time I saw it.

Er, I WAS watching and I've forgotten how Goldust's feud with Sheamus turned out. Regardless, his Celtic ire has been transferred to Shelton Benjamin.

Didn't Sheamus win the blowoff, a no DQ match that main evented a few weeks ago?

Ryder face turn, bro, you know it.
