Everybody was really bored with last night's contract signing, and well, I was too. Heck, I read the spoilers and only watched to see HHH go nuts. But as far as the signing itself, it was okay, but the match isn't even hyped. Frankly, I'm tired of defending Hunter against you guys, so I'll just drop it by reminding you of the last time a contract signing meant something, at last to me. January 29, 2001 on RAW, Stone Cold and HHH would have to sign a contract that would not only confirm their match at NWO 2001, but also kept the two of them from provoking one another or HHH would be suspended for 6 months or for Austin, no Wrestlemania title shot. Want the full details?

The beauty of this is that despite the usual contract signing going on, there was some twists, like Hunter using only one H, and the many creative ways both HHH and Stone cold pissed each other off without touching each other. Pedigreeing JR (I cheered that, by the way), or stunning Stephanie are some of the highlights. The contract's iron clad stips are what made us all fired up for the match, and how the two opponents danced around it. That was good stuff. Last night's Smackdown was just.... there. Opinions are welcome. By the way, since the WWE bores even me, I'll just go back to ogling HHH's body, then taping the World Cup games. OOOOOO, KOREA, OOOOO, KOREA!

Oh, yes, that was good good stuff. You could probably go so far as to say that was the last good main event angle the WWF's had too. Why is HHH still a face, again?

I was actually at that Raw. It was good, but not as good as the Raw where the Radicals jumped ship, I was at that.

A Fan- If I'm at an Raw or Smackdown, stuff usually happens.

i have always been a big HHH fan...i remember like 2 years ago going to a show and he was at his height of being a heel and when he came out everyone would chant asshole..anyway me and my friend jack started a HHH chant which only had me and my friend jack chanting...then everyone around us booed us and yelled profanity at us...now thats entertainment...anyway HHH needs to go heel and soon...thats where he belongs

The lamest contract signing I've seen was the one with Nash and Goldberg for their Starrcade '98 WCW World Title match. Nash moving his head from side to side while having "wolfy ears".

When HHH and Steph first got together HHH was a great heel. The pink slip on a pole. Making Edge/Matt Hardy wrestle Christian/Jeff Hardy. Of course like all wrestling angles the beat in into the ground.

I think they were trying to create the vibe with the tyson/lewis fight because McMahon was just there. That fight was lame, but the story behind the fight and the build up, seperating the ring, splitting Memphis in half so they could never cross... that's intense.

I know the whole contract signing has been done before, but I think Vince was trying to recreate this vibe and it bombed because HHH and the Undertaker are boring.

I was at the 1/2001 RAW with the contract signing, and it killed the crowd dead.

Well, if HHH went back to being a heel, it wouldn't hurt my feelings, honestly.

And his music could start with "Great Googamooga!" Seriously though, Orlando Jordan looks exactly like a buff Mace Windu. They should give him Jedi robes and he could choke guys out by pointing at them.
