Still haven't recovered from week 1 yet, but it's time to move on.

Clemson at GT might be a fun game to see, though I'd expect GT to win they are still overrated at this point. Notre Dame at Michigan barely interests me at all other than hoping for the upset. Really hoping for the upset.

Maybe USCe at Georgia will be entertaining, cause I kinda think the Old Ball Coach might be in for a decent year. Might.
Then we have USC at Ohio State. Buckeyes played meh last week, so of course they'll bounce back and look great this week if they hold to their history. USC..I dunno, they're USC. I expect Barkley to make a few mistakes and cost his team the game.

I'm gonna keep an eye on Nebraska/Ark State for upset potential, but other than that there are a lot of crap games this weekend. Hoping for some to surprise me but not counting on it.

Yeah, not a whole lot interesting this week. I think Paulus and the Orange are going to upset somebody they have no business beating. Catching Penn State off guard early might be possible.

I really like Oklahoma State, more than Oklahoma (even before Oklahoma's game last week) but Houston could be sneaky. They score a lot of points and OSU isn't big on the defense.

I've heard people talking up Houston a bit, but I'm just not sold. I think they get crushed but who knows these days.

The team I am worried about is Maryland. After Duke and Virginia got embarrased last week to FCS schools, Maryland has to play #6 ranked FCS James Madison. Yes i think Maryland has way more talent and should win.

But again, it's Maryland.

Also Perriloux gets the start agaist FSU, so I'm hoping the Noles don't have a hangover from Monday.

Normally, those would be Fightin' Words. After that Cal game, I'm not so sure anymore. My rankings won't come out till week 4 or so, but by losing to a FCS school, this early pretty much means they're getting ranked 120 out of 120.

And I think them beating JMU is a coin flip at this point.

That was a puke inducing loss by the Irish. Have no problem with Weis throwing once the starting running back came up limping after getting the first 1st down when they were trying to run out the clock.
The sun rises in the East. Water is wet. Michigan State is the masters of taking defeat out of the jaws of victory.
Okie State topped Texas Tech's old record for proving themselves to be frauds.
Is Al Groh still employed?

If Beano Cook has a vote in the polls, they need to strip him of it. Already he was on ESPN Radio today saying that "WHEN" Florida goes undefeated in conference and finishes with one loss, and "WHEN" USC goes undefeated, even if BYU goes undefeated Florida deserves the title game.

For the love of Jeebus, it's the second week of the season, could we stop trying to determine the BCS championship game already and let the teams PLAY IT OUT?

And, this USC vs UGA game is great! Gunslinging offense!

Whew. I spent my afternoon frantically finding a way to get ESPN 360 to work on my Time Warner cable(have a friend with comcast sign up a free account and give you the login, btw) only to watch 59 minutes and 30 seconds of crap from FSU. At least it's a win.

Nice win by Michigan. Fun games tonight.

Duh Ohio State Defense could not hold a lead against Penn State, Texas or USC.
I know Ohio State is proud of stealing the QB from Michigan, but, it just doesn't seem like a good coach/QB combination. Tressel is just too conservative, and a player like Pryor needs to play a more aggressive style.

Michigan beats the Irish.
CMU beats State.
USC beats OSU.... again.

Fabulous. One of the best weekends in college football in a long time.

It was such an awful game and I'm thinking we're finishing 2-10. What the fuck is wrong with this team?

Lots of great finishes, CMU/MSU being the best. Can't believe Houston beat Okla State.

Anyone thinking Washington can hang w/USC? USC lost on the road last year the week after beating aOSU, but it is Washington..

And this:

Really, I'd call Virginia 120 even if we had lost to JMU. Virginia lost 26-14 to WILLIAM AND MARY at home. Al Grohshit, FBS coach.
