Michaela Watkins was awesome; bad choice. Casey Wilson was expendable, though.
So with Pardo retiring, doesn't that basically make a role for Hammond? Apparently any time that Pardo couldn't make the show, Hammond just impersonated him during the intro, and nobody could tell the difference.
It is the policy of the documentary crew to remain true observers and not interfere with its subjects.

Remember in the olden days when it was a rarity for an SNL cast member to last five seasons? Now Meyers is going into his ninth year, Armisen and Forte are into year eight, Kenan Thompson his seventh, Sudeikis his sixth, and Hader/Wiig/Samberg all their fifth.

The SNL performers have to also contribute sketches to the show along with the shows sketch writers. They have to submit at least 3 sketches each week. If not many of your sketches are used thru-out the season, your gone. Quite a few past SNL performers have said they would have done SNL forever if they weren't forced to write sketches for the show every week.

Please tell me this isn't the end of "The Cougar Den."
And I'm REALLY gonna miss Don Pardo. One of the last links to television's past. Oh well, there's always his solo in "Weird" Al Yankovic's "I Lost On Jeopardy."
