So far the highlight of my Twitter experience was during the Hall of Fame Game, when I noticed Alex Mortensen on the sidelines in the first quarter and Tweeted @mortreport to see if that was his son, and getting a response back. I love Twitter.
Right now I have 109 following. Mostly NASCAR, and football people, with an odd celeb here or there.
Holy fuck shit motherfucker shit. Read comics. Fuck shit shit fuck shit I sold out when I did my job. Fuck fuck fuck shit fuck. Sorry had to do it....

Yeah you just have to find the ones who are presonally tweeting instead of having it be a publicist (which the Hendrick guys do). A sampling.
Michael Waltrip is @mw55 Kevin Harvick is @KevinHarvick Juan Montoya is @jpmontoya Ryan Newman is @RyanNewman39 Brad Coleman (who occasionally drive the 20 in the Nationwide Series) is @BradCColeman Kenny Wallace is @Kenny_Wallace Elliott Sadler is @Elliott_Sadler Kyle Petty is @kylepetty Bobby Labonte is @Bobby_Labonte

SamoaJoe: "Just found a bevy of old PRIDE DVDs. Sakuraba vs. Renzo Gracie was such a good fight way better than the historic 90 min Royce Match." drjayphd: "@SamoaJoe Great, now I wish I had bought that copy of UFC 4 when I saw it... Things go better with Joe Son's groin getting abused." SamoaJoe: "@drjayphd The greatness that was Joe Son Do. Man UFC needs more Ninjitsu competitors! The Ghost of Keith Hackney want to crush your balls!"
I follow a girl I'm friends with (and who I'm completely and totally in love with and I only signed up because she did first and I just NEED to know what's she's thinking, even if it pretty much always is "Go Pens!"), one of her friends who started following me first, two super-nerdy guys I hang out with (and I say that with all the respect in the world) and our own Brian P. Dermody. And that's it. I should probably add more people, but I'm lazy and I don't really like it anyway.
EDIT: That said, I am so following Tracy Morgan now.

The closest I come to this at all is that I have the Twitter stuff from a couple of local restaurants RSS'd to my email. They send out things about nightly specials & exotic fish they've gotten. That's it.

My folks have a saying that goes like "If you don't vote, you're not allowed to complain about your government." -- I take those words to heart. Plus, with voter turnout at amazingly low levels, we all have to do our part.
