The W - Internet & Computers - Everybody loves pro wrestling freeware! (TEW 2005 - aka "that thing made after EWR") This thread has 87 referrals leading to it
I was totally unawares (because I'm still not much on the PC side beyond work) but Total Extreme Warfare 2005 (aka "what EWR evolved into when Adam Ryland started getting paid to program") was released as freeware back on the first of July. Many download links at Grey Dog Software (greydogsoftware.com).
I mostly mention it here because "CRZ" was included in EWR - sadly, he didn't make it to TEW, but I don't believe ANY real life folks made it the '05 version. Nonetheless, since everybody over on The 7 was pretty gaga about EWR you KNOW they WOULD have been excited had they gotten the EWR of a few years later. Or maybe not. What the heck, man, it's FREE. All is costs is ALLLLLL of your precious free time. I ain't kidding, man, this thing takes A LONG TIME to play.
(I noticed this *today* because we got a few hits from their forums... which just goes to show that even CLOTHED pictures of Gail Kim will bring the HITZ from all over the Internet!)
I forgot all about EWR. How did it end up doing once it was pay to play? I can't imagine it'd be much fun with ranomly named wrestlers. I seem to remember at least one of the WWE video games taking this whole idea and making a 'GM Mode' out of it.
EWR is right up there with Lemonade Stand in wasted time I will never have back.
TEW was a lot of fun and a *lot* of wasted time, even with the fictional world created for it.
There was also a mod community in the forums on the Grey Dog website. I never found a "real world" mod I was completely satisfied with, but there was a mod called "Death of the Territories" set in a universe of wrestling as it stood from 82-85. That had tremendous depth.

I don't know how much she synced it, but Lise used a Tungsten E for a while. I don't recall if this was before or after she had a mac, though. Well, it was before. I just don't remember when she stopped using it.
