Flair News: Ric Flair on the radio - Flair scratch-off Lottery card, Horsemen road stories, NWA Fanfest By James Caldwell, Torch assistant editor Aug 1, 2009 - 2:40:44 AM - Printer Friendly Page
Ric Flair had a 20-minute segment on the "Primetime with Packman" radio show on Friday afternoon in Charlotte, N.C. talking the Ric Flair lottery, the NWA Fanfest, and old Four Horsemen road stories.
Flair didn't "break any news" or talk update his WWE status, but he said will become the "official face" of the North Carolina Lottery on September 22. To coincide with the announcement, the lottery will be releasing a "Woo!" scratch-off card.
Flair also promoted the NWA Legends Fanfest in Charlotte next weekend that will feature the first Original Four Horsemen reunion in nearly 20 years, plus a Q&A session with Flair and Harley Race.
Most of the interview was Flair talking Charlotte sports and sharing some road stories, including a few recent stories involving Chicago White Sox GM Kenny Williams.

You need to be careful of the fine print on the tickets though Flea: Winners of the Ric Flair lottery are subject to having 95% of their assets garnished by the IRS and various divorce attorneys. Flair should have heeded the words of the Rev. Blanchard, who stated he Never Said I Quit (which, if you watch the tape, is correct). Flair should have said: I Never Said I Do. I Said I Wooooo. At least then it would only be the IRS garnishing earnings.

Isnt Ole Anderson on the outs or something? I seem to remember him writing one of those "Vince is the devil and has ruined wrestling" bios a few years ago.

I thought I had a $1000 winner on one of those, until the original lottery official woke up, and ruled that the Canadian quarter in my hand constituted the use of an "international object", and I was disqualified.

I know Ole wasn't at the WWE farewell, I don't believe Tully was either. This is going to be all four original guys plus JJ Dillon. Flair, Ole, Arn, Tully, JJ.

Tully was there- it was Tully, Arn, Windham and JJ at the Flair Farewell.
I didn't get to see the first few War Games, but I really enjoyed the nWo vs. Horsemen one in 1997, where Curt Hennig turned on the Horsemen in one of the classic finishes of the nWo era.
