On the Savage Disc, his match against Flair has my Woman all over it. I think the lawsuit w / Astin, that, for the most part, exonerates WWE, has wiped the good taste out of their snouts
(come to think of it - the Savage disc was planned months ahead, so WWE must have known what was coming. Which makes the 24/7 re-appearance of Benoit make sense)
Who's asking for the 9-11 tribute show? All I remember about that is it turned a perfectly good heel Angle into a patriotic babyface. And the years of bitching about what Stephanie said
Sure looks like Angle is coming back. Or some mud in TNA's eye. Or maybe Russo will go the extra step and draft more shows around TNA's wrestlers best glory years being with another company
Looks like I have a neat project for this weekend (or if CRZ is around and can give up that Amazon fetish, he will do what I'm thinking aboot)

Maybe it was snot rocketed out. Thankyougoodnight!
I'm just assuming that they figured there's so many people in the match, maybe we'll just not see him. But don't tickle my ass with a feather. If you're choosing this period to re-institute him, why can't I have my Ten German Suplex match?

Wasn't Angle a face pre-9/11? I thought the breakup with Austin and the milk truck deal came early that year.
(edited by Super Shane Spear on 18.6.09 1737) You should listen to what I listen to
Yeah, he had been chasing Steve Austin for the WWF title during that time, the only thing I remember for the build for their Summerslam rematch was that it un-did a perfectly good injury angle.
The Cena/Angle match...are we talking Cena's debut match? If so, I hope they add the backstage part after the match, where Cena meets the Undertaker for the first time.

Doesn't at least one of these involve Benoit as well? I remember him pretty much constantly stealing Kurt's medals and such. To be honest, at this point it doesn't really matter to me if he is on these dvd's or not.
Just hope that indeed they have all the Angle-Austin shenanigans on there. (Jimmy crack corn and I don't care! And I got Olympic gold!)
It would be sweet if they find a way to have the complete Iron Man match on there.

It's not the first time they've had Woman on a DVD since June 25, 2007. Austin's DVD last year had a Sandman match, with Woman there of course.
Still, inclusion of TLC III is surprising, considering Benoit's prominence in that match.

Neither do. Benoit was out injured in August 2001 and was on RAW in July 2004. The former deals with Austin, the latter deals with Eddie.
Someone from Silvervision at ukff.com confirmed that the Iron Man match WON'T be in full. He said that some matches will be full, some will be clipped, but the Iron Man match is definitely one that falls under the latter.

Steph equated that the attacks to Vince's steroid trail. Another classy McMahon move. They should have done the Sept. 11th attacks as a bonus feature instead of their shinning moment. That right should be reserved to Eddie's celebration after winning the title. The sad fact is that compared to Raw, Smackdown doesn't have too many GREAT moments.

Thanks.
One great moment I cant think of that I didn't see listed was Hogans' return in 02 where they had to take a commercial break becaase the ovation was so long. I think it brought tears to Hogan's eyes. Say what you want about him, but that was quite a moment.

There were a couple of these. They've got one: # 82 – Hulkster Returns January 23, 2003
STEPHANIE McMAHON: A few years ago, some people tried to destroy my family. They attacked my father's reputation, they attacked my mother's reputation, and they attacked the World Wrestling Federation. They tried to rip us apart...but all they did was make my family stronger. And that's exactly how America feels right now. Because on Tuesday, America was attacked. Because America is a united nation. And together, we stand strong. I am incredibly proud to be an American citizen, and I will stand up for my rights and my freedom.
Originally posted by thefraserman...I don't see what's wrong with that?
She says that after America got attacked, it just made them stronger, like her family.
So it's comparing Americans to the McMahons, meaning they both get stronger. I dont get it what the deal is with the bashing.
It's not only equating the McMahons with all Americans, it's equating those who went after the McMahons - and I'm not sure who she's talking about exactly, but the consensus seems to be that she's referring to the steroids trial in the early 1990s - with the people who flew planes into the World Trade Center in 2001. There is absolutely nothing in Stephanie McMahon's life that is comparable to that tragedy.
Again, I will quote the same recap:
Originally posted by CRZFirst, Vince failed to end his remarks with "and we'll donate all the profits from tonight's show to the Red Cross." I note this in the most impartial manner possible without implied suggestion...that'll be for others to do. However, *this* one is mine: No matter *how* many people tell me what a sweetheart Stephanie McMahon is in real life, it doesn't change the fact that, to me, tonight, she came across petty, bitter, vindictive, and concerned solely with herself and twisting every available situation in that direction. And THAT....well, *that* makes me wonder if maybe it's just something she hasn't learned to suppress...to suppress, perhaps, as well as her father.
Not that CRZ's opinion is gospel, but I think he summed up nicely the reaction a lot of people had to her little speech at the time.
In tonight's main event, Divas Champion BETH PHOENIX - remember her? - takes on KELLY KELLY! Watch out, because this one MAY shatter the FIVE MINUTE MARK ALSO TONIGHT: JUSTIN GABRIEL takes on not Heath Slater but HUNICO!
