when did Santino become so unfunny.

Right after the Dating Game sketch?

Wasn't it reported that more NBA/Nuggets stuff is planned for this week's Smackdown?

Shocking. Because if Vince McMahon is known for anything, it is for not holding a grudge.

Sometime two years from now there will be a stupid heel named Kroenke, or at least E. Stan.

The sad thing about all this is that Vince McMahon really IS the victim, having been unceremoniously screwed out of a 9-month arena reservation, and instead of being the bigger man, he just HAS to parade himself on national TV and make himself and the WWE look second-rate with that opening skit. I'm shocked he didn't pull down his pants and bring back the Kiss My Ass club for one night. Even when he's totally in the right (and he is), how can anyone side with someone so childish?

You gotta say this, they're REALLY persistent with that Goldust electrocution angle. That happened over three years ago! Couldn't that just die and he could go back to just being Goldust? I promise no one will notice.

The perennially bad Hogpen Match is another nail in Santino's coffin. I personally don't think he was lighting the world on fire to begin with, but this face turn has just murdered him.

That crowd sounded awfully quiet during the main event. Could it be because the Lakers were DOWN BY OVER 10? What a waste of Kennedy's return, too.

But just so this post isn't all negative, I absolutely love what they're doing with Miz and Cena. The fact that Cena hasn't laid a hand on him yet is really building up that anticipation before Cena kills him dead.

I tuned in for the first time in months (partly due to curiosity over the Nuggets thing, partly because nothing else was on) and this segment really struck me. It is still Dustin playing Goldust, right? I ask because his voice sounded REALLY different. If it didn't look just like him, I would swear it was another guy in the outfit.

It happened over six years ago believe it or not. I couldn't believe he brought it up. He should run in on the Batista/Orton title match and destroy them both for revenge.

Perenially? Has there been more than one?

They had an "exhibition" match 2 weeks ago.

Nice touch w/ Miz doing the LeBron James "powder toss" thing during his entrance.

Really odd ending to the 5-on-5 match. Usually they have everyone run through their finishers at the end before the final 2 guys go to the pinfall, so it caught me by surprise when MVP got the pin at the end. I thought for sure it was going to get broken up on the way to Finisherama.

Well, not generally, but in this case the game was already over here in L.A. by the time Raw started.

well, not quite "worst Raw ever" but I literally kept falling asleep during the show. I tuned out during the opening knowing it would be horrible and came back to the divas match. I give Kelly credit for trying to hit moves, but she still needs an opponent to really SELL for her. Maryse looked like she was trying not to ACTUALLY injure kelly. After that, I caught bits and pieces of everything else.
Not a good way to wrap up a holiday weekend WWE. Of course, Vince knows what the audience wants want more than we do, because we're just wrestling fans.

I think of that as the Micheal Jordan powder toss thing. I just watched a Youtube of it. It's the exact same thing MJ used to do.

Dawned on me, when was the last time Vince snuck off camera to the back while another wrestler was on the microphone (Miz)????

Golddust looks sharp in the ring. Like to see a few more Cody and Golddust spots though once this Legacy cr*p is over.

I love how critical everyone is on message boards. Not this just this one yet this one at least keeps some kind of perspective on it.

I popped the power walk of Vince coming out. I guess I was digging him being a huge ass to the NBA. Then again I am one of the minority here by not caring who plays basketball.

XBA let me guess the ball is black, the nets are black, and floors are finished to be black too. Instead of tip of they have to race to the top of the arena to decide who gets first possession. Yeah, not happening.

Here we go.

Bright spots:
-Three way was decent. Yeah Kofi look little low on the finish but Matt covered pretty well. Average three way.
-Kelly and Maryse was a little strange. I am personally for that finish. It was different. Yeah, a bit odd but its ok. I think its setting some story between the blonds.

Dark Spots:
-Just about everything else. It didn't click. Opening was ok...the guy impersonator could have sold the crowd a bit more.
-Santino/Santina its ok. Not exactly bad. Great a hog pen match. That is a bathroom break match if I have ever heard of one.
-Kendrick is at least doing something. The odd couple tag team deal and partner searching works. At least something.
-Goldust and Hornswoggle is at least some kind of bizarre entertainment.
-Main event: Was what it was.

By far this was not the "worst" Raw every. Some are you are starting to sound like some of the commentators that tried to sell PPVs to us.

"This is the BIGGEST SPECTACULAR EVER! Don't miss it or you won't know what happened."

That's enough for now and if you, sir, disagree with me you are worse than a ring rat.

I'm kinda wondering, was Vince making fun of himself bring up another X-league? The XFL was a flop, but I admit...I really enjoyed it. Too bad the XBA is a joke; I'd probably like that, too.

Im guessing the reasion Maryse was Dq'ed was beacuse at the count of 8 she made it so Kelly Kelly wouln never get back in time. I think it was one of thoes to be fair calls. It would be the same as if Orton hancuffed Batista to the gaurdrail.

As far as matching Angle against Sharmell, I think the idea might be to put Angle in a program where he's not doing too much ring work.
