After a few years (with a few interruptions) of this site being my homepage, I changed it a couple months ago because most places I go in Phnom Penh have such slow Internet connections that it makes more sense to open a blank page by default and allow me to navigate to a page from there.

At work, it opens directly to a Google news search for Cambodia.

Other sites that have served as my homepage over the years:

Google
GMail
Newsvine

Before I had to reinstall XP, it was my message board that I shut down a few years ago. Now, it's a blank page because I just have Firefox reload all my tabs.

I use my Gmail as my homepage. Usually checking my email is my first priority when I'm online.

Good choices so far. Especially "Circle of Life". Really, The Lion King is as close to a religious experience as Disney movies get.
