There were some very surprising swerves in these last two hours. Sucre coming back wasn't really a surprise but C-Note coming back for the ending was nice. I had all but forgotten about him.

The other big swerve was having Kellerman show up alive... and working for the good guys. I could have swore we saw him get shot to hell in the back of a truck, but maybe I imagined that.

This show certainly had it's ups and downs but I'm glad I stuck by it. With so much going against it, they really pulled out a satisfying, logical conclusion out of the whole mess they dug themselves into.

There are still two more episodes that we haven't seen. These will be released as a Straight-to-DVD movie that will show us HOW Michael dies. I, for one, can't hardly wait for that.

Forget it Josh... it's Cerebustown.

I LOVED IT!

I pretty much stopped watching it full time after they got out of Sona Prison, due to all the silliness of the scripts and the fact that Chuck was on at the same time. Tried to keep up by changing channels during the commercials, so I knew what was going on kinda, but the Whistler and Susan B. Anthony crap seemed like a lot of filler. IMO the best thing to happen to this show was to give it an end date, like LOST.

Happy to see C-Note and Sucre show up to help out their buddies. Kellerman was a BIG surprise. I remember that they never showed him being killed - you just heard gunshots, and we assumed he was dead. Must have been him shooting his way out of it.

I was also glad to see the partner's wife spit in his face for killing him back in the "President Caroline boinking her brother" days.

T-Bag making Sarah hold his pocket was a riot! He's back in his element now - running Fox River. IMO he alway stole the show.

Felt bad about Rappaport. He didn't cave and showed he was a good guy all along.

Little Michael's casting was spot on. He had the same blank look on his face as his dad.

I'm thinking that the DVD of what happened after the nosebleed ending is stuff they filmed for the rest of the season before they got canned.

The paper crane was a nice touch.

Good finish to what was, for the most part, a great show.

I'm pretty surprised by how entertaining Prison Break was during it's entire run, even when the plot was incredibly ridiculous.

The one question I have is what was it the General said in his last scene? Didn't catch it and forgot to rewind and check before deleting the episode...

Where was Gretchen? I think she'll be part of the missing episodes, but the finale felt a little incomplete without her.

I'll miss this show a lot. The first two seasons (particularly, the first half of season 1) were some of my favorite television ever. It was just such excellently crafted serial TV. Paul Scheuring said more than once that his vision was for two seasons, period. I always kept that in my head when watching PB after season 2, even though I didn't complain about have more PB. I just watched it with a more critical eye. But it always pulled me in, and always delivered some *really* tense dramatic TV. The writers never lost that knack, despite how ridiculous the premise became.

One of my truly favorite elements of the show that carried across the entire run was that even though you always had the over-reaching "one man vs the ever-growing corporate conspiracy", the show always came back to the much more relatable and personal conflict of Michael (good) vs T-Bag (evil). The show visited this central feud at least once every year, and I fully expected the show to climax with it. I never expected T-Bag to survive, as I figured Michael would've killed him out of self-defense or Sara-defense. But Michael always remained the bigger man. It looked like he was going to fall off the edge at the end, but Sara pulled him back. I love it when a show does this.

The main characters (Michael and Lincoln) were out-acted by the secondary characters throughout the show...General Pad Man Krantz, President Caroline, Kellerman, Quinn, Haywire, Abruzzi, The Pope, Westmoreland, Sammy, Whistler, Christina, Self, etc. The co-MVPs were Bellick, Mahone and T-Bag.

I believe in Ben Affleck. I was totally sold after The Town but I think his filmmaking skills are pretty much indisputable now with Argo's release. Here's my spoiler free love-letter review of Argo (londonfilmfanatiq.com).
