Buster Douglas surviving a Tyson punch, getting up, and eventually knocking him out. It was shocking.

Christian Laetner's last-second shot in March Madness.

Watching a minor-league baseball game live where the hometown team came back to win in the bottom of the ninth when runners advanced by being hit by the pitcher, walking, a pitcher balk, and stealing home.

It's wrestling, but I was there in Greenville in 1998 when Ric Flair came back to WCW from the lawsuit exile. We screamed and screamed and screamed.

The Houston Oilers blowing a 30+ lead in Buffalo. And years later, that team as the Titans running back the Music City Miracle against Buffalo to make the Super Bowl.

The aforementioned Sid Bream moment. The entire floor of our dorm exploded in joy.

Ain't gonna lie, that 1994 FSU game game sucked. Giving up a 23 point 3rd quarter lead to UM in 2003 was almost as bad.

Things have been a bit brighter lately, however. ;)

David Tyree's helmet catch at Super Bowl XLII. Never have I experienced a bigger "holy shit they're gonna win" moment in my life.

Uwe Krupp's triple-overtime goal that got the Avalanche their first cup. It was very late, I was struggling to not fall asleep, and suddenly he hits the shot and Gary Thorne shouts "SCOOOOOOOOORE!"

I also back Ray Bourque's Stanley Cup win with the Avalanche.

Oh man. Jordan pushed off on Russell with his free hand. Anyone who even tries to debate this is just silly.

I've witnessed a lot of great moments in sports, but the two that really stick out for me to this day are Game 6, 1986 World Series and John Riggins touchdown run on 4th down from Super Bowl XVII. Those two things are probably the reason why I love baseball and football above all. Other moments that I love are:

-Dikembe laying down on the court screaming after the #8 Nuggets did the impossible and beat the #1 Sonics.

-Frank Reich's comeback against the Oilers.

-John Elway's first championship.

-Tyree's helmet catch.

-Big Z's no-hitter from last year.

-And, of course, all of the Redskins' Super Bowl victories. XVII was the sweetest, but XXVI was the most satisfying. People forget how dominant that team was.

As a fan of all things Cleveland, the best I could do is maybe watching Jim Brown and the 1964 title.

Well also maybe the Cavs run back in the 1970s. They didn't make it far but with World B Free and Luke Witte, it was a blast.
