I can't get over how much the MS Paper Co storyline drew me in. I mean, I got goosebumps when Michael stood up to David Wallace last week. And I was sharing his swagger tonight when he laid down the law with the salespeople who stayed behind...until Phyllis made him (and me) realize that he was destroying everyone's livelihoods at the expense of hurting Big Corporate. I felt guilty and sad after that (almost as sad as when Kevin spilled his chilli). I love this storyline because it's so human and real. I was dreading tonight's episode because I thought they were going to immediately go back to same old, same old.

It doesn't surprise me at all that Andy had salmon for his fake lunch and his real lunch. And the look on Stanley's face when Michael took his egg salad was awesome.

Other than that, the shot of Darryl staring down Michael for building a paper ream fort in the warehouse should be played on every The Office commercial from now on.

Stanley remains the only person on TV that can make me laugh out loud by facial expressions alone.

And thanks to Meredith for the frontal/sidal/rearal nudity. Isn't the first time, won't be the last.

I see your Stanley on this, and raise you Toby and Kevin.

Great opening with Kevin and the chili - I watched it, and then re-watched it twice. I also cannot fathom the thought of....Creed's daughter.

Creed smiling and saying "wanna' play a game" was creepier (and funnier) than any supposedly scary horror movie villain.

Call me a big softie, but I about cried when Kevin spilled his chili. Such a MEAN gag. I was thinking the gag would've been Kevin showing up early...but finding out the office was closed due to something weird like Flag Day. Then end with a shot of Kevin on the loading dock, eating his chili and looking at his watch.

In my own Kevin moment, I was a little confused over the ending involving Pam and Erin. I'm guessing Michael lays-off or re-assigns Erin and Pam is back to being a "secretary", next week.

EDIT: oh...need to say it, but a co-worker is wearing her own "Kelly J-Lo Outfit" today, complete with a hat. And I DON'T think it's intentional.

Yeah, there was about a minute after that where he told Erin she was fired because no one liked her, then explained that it was a joke. "So does no one like me?" she asked. "I don't know", he replied, stifling a laugh.

I liked Jim hanging out with Creed, especially the offer to introduce him to his daughter. I also liked Dwight's convoluted plan to get the rest of the sales staff to meet (invisible ink made of urine).

"Do I rent Devil Wears Prada (again) or should I finally get around to Sophie's Choice? It is what you would call a classic difficult decision."

That might be the best Office quote of all time.

I thought it was pretty funny that they invited Jim to the meeting and thought nothing of it, but gave the boot to Merideth the moment she showed up.

Just in case you forgot, The Office Season 2 is now available on DVD. I just watched "The Fire" episode and that was worth it right there. One of the best TV comedy episodes EVER. Dwight: "It was the Lone Ranger and Tonto.
