Another swing and a miss for NBC. It's being replaced by a second hour of "Dateline: Sunday" (woof). The remaining episodes will air Saturdays starting 4/18 through...what, some time in June? And surely we will not be seeing it come back.

B&C, by the way, thinks NBC should keep trying. (broadcastingcable.com) Well...good luck with that. (I had totally forgotten about "My Own Worst Enemy" until they mentioned it!)

Anything that deprives me of seeing Ian McShane on my television is a bad thing.

There was a lot of potential in that show - but it really felt like it belonged on HBO or Showtime and not on a broadcast network.

I like this show but it was clear after the ratings for the premiere it wasn't long for this world.

I'm quite taken with Princess Michelle Benjamin. I guess I'll just have to enjoy my TV crush on her until Kings disappears into the big fade.

On the plus side, they seem to have a story to tell and it looks like they'll be able to see it through to completion, so that's a plus. Hopefully, even though it'll be on Saturdays, it won't just disappear and NBC will let them see the story through.

Netflix hasn't heard of it either.
