Unified Tag Team Title-The Colon Brothers Money in the Bank--CM Punk Diva Battle Royal--Santina Morella and no that is not a typo. Legends Match--Chris Jericho Extreme Rules-Matt Hardy Intercontinental Championship--Rey Mysterio Undertaker d. Shawn Michaels World Heavyweight Title--John Cena WWE Title--HHH
MITB was AWESOME! I feel I loved that match more than most others. Battle royal was a mess, but Santino dancing was good stuff. Jericho v. Legends was better than I ever thought, due to Steamboat being great. Hardy v. Hardy was very good. Rey v. JBL was a squash. Michaels v. Undertaker was FIVE FUCKING STARS and AWE-FUCKING-SOME! Cena v. Show v. Edge was very good. Hunter v. Orton was pointless and boring and had the lamest finish in Mania history.
Overall, I'd say it was a very good show, but my GOD, did it end on a bad note.
Colons over Miz & Morrison (Primo backstabber on Morrison), dark match, tag titles are unified.
Money in the Bank: CM Punk (14:23, kicked Kane off ladder)
Miss Wrestlemania Diva Battle Royal: Santina Marella (6:00, eliminated Beth from behind as she was eliminating Melina) (awful match)
Legend Challenge: Jericho (over Snuka @ 3:46 via Walls, over Piper @ 4:41 via Codebreaker, over Steamboat @ 8:53 via Codebreaker). Post match sees Jericho beat up Flair and challenge Rourke, who comes in and KOs Jericho.
Matt over Jeff (13:10, chair-assisted Twist of Fate)
Rey over JBL (0:21, top rope splash). JBL then takes the microphone and declares that he quits.
Undertaker over Shawn Michaels (30:40, tombstone after catching a moonsault bodyblock) (awesome, awesome match, clear MOTY top contender)
John Cena over Big Show and Edge (14:40, FU to Big Show, FU to Edge on Big Show, pinned Big Show)
Triple H over Randy Orton (23:32, punt/sledgehammer/pedigree)
Title matches were unremarkable, but the Taker match was A-f'n-1.

If you wanna reach the Co-op, boy, you gotta get by me.

Not sure the WWE would put a major title change on opposite the NCAA basketball championship game, though.
There was so much standing around in all of the matches. This was a two match show for me, with Money in the Bank being great and the Taker/HBK match which was outstanding. I haven't been into a match like that in a long time. Watching HBK kick out of the tombstone was shocking, and there were a few times that I thought match was over and it kept going (which was a good thing).
Am I in Horseville? Because I'm hearing nothing but naysayers!

Eh. They cut the match, gave Mysterio/JBL 30 seconds, and the show STILL went off the air 30 seconds AFTER 11:00pm.
At least we have a 10 minute, apparently pretty good match to look forward to on the DVD. Instead of a 2-minute throw-away match if they had been on the PPV.
I'm pissed that the tag match wasn't shown on TV, because I was actually looking forward to that. Maybe if they'd spent a little less time on recaps and Kid Rock?
Miss Wrestlemania -- feh. I couldn't even tell who was in there for most of the way. At least Victoria got a little face time.
I liked the Hardyz match okay, and the chair-assisted Twist of Fate looked suitably nasty.

True. They'll probably sign it for Backlash, then.

Drop Kid Rock and you get plenty of time and probably don't lose a single buy.
Great show. I thought Taker killed himself. By far the best I've seen in forever. I ranked it higher than Steamboat/Savage WM III. I'll re-think it tomorrow, but right now, I am still in awe.
JBL....I drained the lizard, he quit. I don't think Mysterio will be a good replacement for The Joker...Bad outfit.
Wow, the women didn't even get announced. That's the only thing I was looking forward to out of that match. Not all of them, just the ones that aren't on the current roster. Nothing.
Cena impressed me with his fameasser off the top rope to the outside.
Ladder match was great. Kofi really delivered and made it fun. Loved The Gold Standard tossing MVP out of the ring. Nice bump by Finlay too
HHH/Orton did not live up to my expectations. I wasn't expecting a 5 star match or anything...It was just dull.
I am annoyed that the tag match wasn't on tv. Also while I think the Colons are better wrestlers the unified tag team titles seems more like something that Miz and Morrison would be able to do more with. MITB was good. Spotastic but it always is. Like that Punk won it. Miss Wrestlemania battle royal was OK. Santino was one really ugly chick. Legend match was OK. Steamboat looked good. The ending was dumb though. Hardyz was pretty good. I was a little suprised that Matt won. Not sure where they go from here though. Taker vs. Shawn was great. HBK kicked out of a chokeslam, last ride, and a tombstone. Cena/Show/Edge was good. Cena impressed me with almost FUing Show and Edge at the same time. Hunter/Orton was boring.
Marge I am just trying to get into heaven not run for Jesus.
I really wanted to see that tag match and I'm disappointed it was relegated to a dark match. I also feel bad for Miz & Morrison, who've had an amazing past year and deserved to be a part of Mania.
Kofi Kingston is the new Shelton Benjamin, when it comes to MITB innovation. Why was Finley wearing The Brian Kendrick's jacket in his entrance? I have no problem with Punk winning again.
Not introducing the 25 women was disappointing but I was glad to see Molly in there.
Steamboat was amazing and I loved that in all the Rourke/Jericho buildup, no one really pointed out til tonight that "Oh yeah, this guy was also a boxer..." Or at least a legit fighter while Jericho had been mocking him for pretending to be a tough guy...yeah he really IS one too.
Hardys' match was spot-tastic and terrifying, as one would expect. Rey Rey IS the Joker...that tops his Flash and Daredevil outfits from the past. Creepy and awesome.
Taker/Michaels...one of the most exhilerating matched I've ever seen. I can't say anything that won't be said better elsewhere.
Triple threat match was fun and well done, with Cena's best WM entrance yet. HHH/Orton was perfectly fine, nothing wrong with it at all but I'm just tired of Trips and the ending just felt anti-climactic compared to all that came before it.
Here are some more thoughts from a demented mind in Central Florida: Another mixed bag of good and bad from the WWE with Wrestlemania tonight.
The good column includes: + MITB - despite some blunders (Shelton's senton spot off the ladder where I was afraid he'd landed on his head/neck, MVP f-ing up Shelton's sunset flip off the ladder, and one or two small others), a fun bout. Mark Henry proves me wrong early in the match, as both he and Kane climb the same ladder simultaneously (before both being quickly pulled off), and then Henry provides a nice touch of brute strength and power. Surprised to see CM Punk repeat as MITB winner, but I can certainly live with that. + I certainly expected both Jericho and Steamboat to bring it in their match, but Piper did some very enjoyable stuff with his time in the match and showed some nice energy for a man in his age and in his condition. I'm not sure I enjoyed the switch back to handicap rules rather than gauntlet rules, but it probably worked for the best that way. + Jeff Hardy - bumping machine. Holy shit. + Taker - 17-0. HBK - 6-10. Insert Nelson "HA HA!" laugh here. + Edge's spear of Big Show through the barricade. And Big Show looked like he came to work tonight. + I rather liked HHH's entrance. Very cool effect with the shattering glass. (Yet, shattered glass is the start of Steve Austin's theme, which was played tonight. Whoa, scary, kids, internet conspiracy theory. )
The bad column (and boy, was some of it bad) includes: + "Hi. I'm Garth Algar. I'll be playing the part of Kid Rock tonight." + Wait, Miz and Morrison vs. Colons got bumped from the PPV for Kid Rock and the Divas Battle Royale and one or two other things that went a lil' bit too long? Boooooooo. + The Divas Battle Royale. What a horrible clusterfuck - and that comes from a fan of battle royales. The camera crew had no idea what to film. The announcers were all too often saying things like, "Hey, look, there's Molly Holly... and she just got eliminated." Boy, if there was ever one incident to show just how much most of the Divas are bad carbon copies of each other (blondes with fake boobs), this was it. And what the hell was with the announcers pulling a WCW Announce Crew bout of raging stupidity and completely ignoring the obvious bit of, "Hey, it's Santino in drag!" ? Ugh. + Mickey Rourke dragging out the post-Legends-bout bit too long... and wait, dropping Jericho with one punch? And no Ram Jam? Boooooooooo. + The IWC blowjobs that the Taker-HBK bout is already receiving. Seriously, someone help me out, please. What specifically did you like about this match that honestly made it MOTY? And I think HHH can now relax that his HHH the Barbarian entrance from WM22 is now no longer the most over-the-top, ridiculous entrance in Wrestlemania history. + Someone needs to explain to Orton and HHH that those moves are called "finishing moves" for a reason, and hitting both of them in the first minute-and-a-half of the main event really doesn't work well. Also, it just seemed to me that the Pedigree finish came out of nowhere.
Top matches tonight: MITB, Hardy vs. Hardy, including a thumbs up for the Legends match and for the Triple Threat.

Oh, I won't argue the fact that Kid Rock went on way too long. But if you take that out, and consider time for ring entrances and post-match celebration, they really would have only gotten about 3-4 minutes of actual in-ring time.
I think it sucks that Miz & Morrison weren't on the show, because they definitely deserve to be. But if it was on the show, due to time constraints, I can almost guarantee that it would have been disappointing.

My girlfriend correctly pointed out that Kid Rock was actually Sawyer-from-Lost-with-his-reading-glasses-on. Also Frank Zappa apparently returned from the great beyond to play extra percussion for the Twisted Brown Trucker band.
Taker/Michaels should have been last...the 2 main events were doomed to be flat after that epic battle.
CC
The same *EXACT* thing happened at WM24. If HBK is your best entertainer/wrestler/performer, why not end the show with him? Anything follwing it was going to be dull, but MAN the HHH/RKO match was just baaaad.
We weren't the only ones who didn't know who the Divas were thanks to the lack of introductions. The announcers were clueless as well. That thing was a mess.

Was that Zappa? I thought that was former Faith No More guitarist Jim Martin. XD
