What a great episode - I LOL-ed many times as Cartman became increasingly irritated that some other hero was stealing his thunder.
I feared that this would turn into a Watchmen-bashing similar to 'The Passion' or 'Indiana Jones', but it became it's own episode and ran on point with Mysterion's identity. My first thought was Kenny, but that was too easy. We may never know.
And anything with Professor Chaos has me hooked. We got to see his lair complete with the minions and the huge supply of aluminum foil. The wall showing the possible identities of the Coon had me rolling.

Me too, but with the whole Unmasking of Mysterion and blowing up of the hospital, it became a slight Dark Knight parody, to me at least. It was too similar not to notice.

The first new episode I got to see in a while and man, was it worth it. Loved the 'Coonicon' bit at the hotel, complete with Virgilesque results and the hotel manager thanking The Coon for his 'continued choice', remembering him for the ginger pride conevntion. The stuff with Professor Chaos and General Disarray were great as well, especially how Butters constructed his grandfather's storage closet for his evil lab. The wall of possible Coon identities was probably the best joke of the night, though the townspeople's overreaction to Mysterion's 'death' during the final fight was a close second.
Parker and Stone can make this pretty much on the fly and make it look good while Family Guy has much more time on their hands and can't seem to turn out anything original anymore. No other people are turning on Seth MacFarlane.

The entire "Who is the Coon" gag was done better when it was "Who is the Drizzle" on Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Coonicon, the shirts, all reminded me of that episode of ATHF, which is years old. Here's a side by side synapsis:
Cartman, posing as "The Coon" orders a ton of merchandise banking on his instant fame for becoming a masked vigilante. Hilarity ensues.
Shake, posing as "The Drizzle" orders a ton of merchandise banking on his instant fame for becoming a masked vigilante. Hilarity ensues.
Funny stuff, though. Mysterion's unmasking was hilarious, showing the creaters are still willing to make fun of themselves. Definitely seemed like a lampoon of the Dark Knight, with some lines sounding like it was directly from it, Cartman and Mysterion's "growl speech", and the suspenseful Nolan Batman music in the background.

Or Butters or Tweek. I hope this question gets answered at some point this season.
"Marriage is like that show ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’, but it’s not funny. All the problems are the same, but you know instead of all the funny, pithy dialogue, everybody is really pissed off and tense. Marriage is like a tense, unfunny version of 'Everybody Loves Raymond', only it doesn't last 22 minutes. It lasts forever."
It was answered. Mysterion was unmasked. The whole of the joke was that you can't differentiate any kid in the show unless you see their clothes and/or hair.
EDIT: I facepalmed. On the W.
