OK, this is what has me confused... it's been announced that Jack Swagger will defend his ECW Championship against Christian next week on ECW on Sci Fi, while on SmackDown, Jeff Hardy will battle Matt Hardy.
Someone explain to me again why they're not saving these matches for... y'know... WrestleMania? Which is not to say they couldn't do those matches again at the pay-per-view, but WrestleMania matches are always best, in my opinion, when you see the so-called "blow-off" matches. Why the heck they'd have those matches at WM25 when they've already been broadcast on free TV is beyond me... not that I'm suffering from Epileptic Tree Syndrome or anything.
"I don't want to see this foolishness!" "What kind of foolishness do you want to see?"

I'm betting since Christian got the pin on Swagger two shows in a row he'll either job to Swagger or more likely lose by DQ or countout or something, and maybe build to a Mania match. As for Hardy/Hardy I wouldn't be suprised by a non-finish.
I believe we are not supposed to post SD! spoilers, but next week's show has already been taped, so if you are curious to find out the Hardy/Hardy match (assuming it takes place), there are places to find that news.

Your comments seem to conflict. In order to have a "blowoff match" for a feud, you have to have some intermediate matches with inconclusive endings.
you have a point, fuzzy... but the split isn't entirely the reason for those people being pushed. RVD was gonna get the push because the crowd loves the guy, even when he was a WCW Invasion heel. Austin's "departure" hurt.
