It's a beautiful day if gusty day here in the upper midwest, and we are enjoying it. But I believe different areas of the country have different comfortable temperature ranges. But I'm sure that's dependent on things like how houses are built in that area.

Here, houses are built to try to retain warmth, and given that, my prefered outdoor temperature range is between 30 and 70 degrees Farenheit.

30 degrees in the sun, you barely need a jacket. Maybe a light one. At 40 you definitely don't need a jacket, and several days above 40 means you'll see people in shorts. And it's all good up above that range up to the point where you need to turn on an air conditioner. I'm heavy, so I got plenty of internal warmth as it is. 80 degrees outdoors means 80 degrees indoors, which means I'm sweating like a pig.

I've only been outside the uppder midwest twice in my life; oddly enough both times were plane trips to Orlando. Granted, it was summertime, but I found the temperatures there pretty uncomfortable. When humid it felt like you were in a sauna all day.

My tolerable temperature range depends greatly on humidity. Lower humidity, and I can stand a much wider range of temperatures. High humidity and 45 can feel waaaaay too cold, and 80 can be waaaay too hot.

My hands get frigidly cold at around 40 degrees outdoor temp, and I start getting heat exhaustion after extended periods (more than 30 mintues) in 85+ degree outdoor. I am very much a temperate climate person who likes indoor climate control systems.. (I really hope we get to install one this year).

Really depends on the time of year. 50+ is shirt only weather now but coat weather in the fall.

I suppose I prefer 70 - 90 degrees. I have acclimated to the 100+ here on the Great Plains in the summer but don't like it and really don't like it below 10, especially here as the wind usually howls when it's cold.

If it was 50-65 and partly cloudy almost every day, I'd be content.

10-70. Low humidity and little wind.

I keep the house at 68 in the winter and 70 in the summer. That's about as warm as I can stand it.

I'll withdraw the humidity condition if it's actual rain. That's the Oregonian in me.

I'm not fluent in Fahrenheit, but anything in the 0-25C range suits me, which according to this (wbuf.noaa.gov) is 32-77F.

Better too cold than too hot I say, although the blizzards and such we've had here lately are taking the piss a bit.

I have Primary Raynaud's disease (Click Here (en.wikipedia.org)), which severely limits my tolerable temperature range. In Fahrenheidt, it's 58 - 73 (15 - 23 celcius). Anythng outside of the range (especially the lower range) requires careful planning.

You know, I really don't know what to put here. Close your eyes and thank of something funny!

The hotter the better, just doesn't bother me at all. Though I'm not totally adjusted to being in Texas still so I can take colder temps better than the people who grew up here, but anything below 50 annoys me greatly. Crank it up around 80-90 and I'm perfect but last summer we had a lot of 100 degree days and I didn't really notice the difference.

anything from 40ºF to 70ºF is ideal. If it's outside that range, colder is better since its much easier to warm up than it is to cool down.

I love the cold; I really have difficulty dealing with the heat. I guess my temperature range is from -30 to +25 centigrade....not including humidity and wind.

The colder the better. No wonder i want to move way up north.

I have no problem with it being anywhere between 20-80. Probably because it's hard to get used to any temperature range here in Missouri with it being so random. One day this week we're in the 70s the next in the 30s. I *do* dislike hot summers though, which makes me glad we're taking our trip to see the fiancees family in Texas this month instead of July like last year.

I like it warm, warm, warm. I would prefer it if it never got under 65. 90-95 is pushing it on the high end.

Me too. Keep it warm - 75 and up is good by me. I don't like to be chilly.

As the black sheep of my family, I have a real different temp. range then anyone else. Right now for winter, I'm cool with the cold weather as long as there isn't harsh winds to go with it. My mother and sister can't stand it though and have to jack up the heat inside the house, which makes it uncomfortable for mke to sleep in, as I sleep in the basement next to the boiler. I think my most comfortable range would be between 40-70. I can go much lower (when I lived near Rochester NY for a year, I wore shorts and pajamas in 10 degree weather) but not much higher: if the temp. goes over 80 for an extended period of time, I'm sweating like a hog and will stay indoors with the fans and AC on full blast.

No matter the temp., one thing is most, most important above all others IMO: the less humidity, the better. Rain or snow if it must, but don't tease me with swamp-like conditions for days on end with no actual precipitation.

0 Farenheit to 70, assuming there's no wind for the colder temps. I can not stand heat of any kind. It's suffocating, it's draining, it's HOT. Plus I'm one of those who sweats way too much, way too easily, and that disgusts me.

Being in WA state, anything from 55-90 is good for me. Anything below 50 and over 95 is too much.
