Tonight on Letterman, according to Bill Scheft's appearance on the Bob and Tom show this morning, they will have Bill Hicks's mother on talking to Dave. Then they will be showing a performance of his from 1993 which was banned from being aired back then. From what Bill says it is very funny, and very ahead of its time, so it sounds like any fans of Mr. Hicks should probably tune into this or at least set the DVR tonight.

This was cool to see. I have to say though that I'm worried about Dave. I hope it's like he told Mrs. Hicks in that he sees things differently now that he has a son, but this strikes me as a move of someone who's not telling *us* something, like maybe something is wrong with him and he's looking to make good on some "wrongs" he has done while hosting the show over the years.
Obviously, I'm reading into things and hopefully reaching, but I wonder . . .
