I'm still in the process of transitioning from my old PC to my newish Mac. All of my files (mostly .mp3s, photos, and .wavs) and already moved over to the Mac, but I dont know how to move my iTunes playlists from my PC and I dont want to have to re-create them from scratch.
I Googled a couple of non-free programs that claim to allow you to move playlists, pics, games, etc directly from your iPod to Mac, but I havent tried them yet. Is there an option within iTunes that allows you to move your playlist info? I found "Import/Export Playlists" options, but I cant seem to get them to work right.
A) Now it makes sense that there wasnt an easier way to do it (What with the different Mac/PC file path configurations & all)
B) Since I didnt keep all of my music in the same folder on the PC, it would be way to complicated/time consuming to do it the edit-the-XML-file way, so I'm gonna do it by hand afterall.
C) Besides, this will give me a chance to weed out all the dumb playlists I never listened to anyway (I have +50 overall).
Too bad, so sad. Who still has a GeoCities page? (Who still knows what GeoCities is?) http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/04/23/yahoo-quietly-pulls-the-plug-on-geocities I STILL blame that watermark.
