I don't think Pennington is as bad as he looked today; it was more that the Ravens D was just that great. I still don't know how Reed made the read to get that interception.
The brackets are set for next week, but that thread can wait until the NFC game is over...
So long, Miami. It was a good run. It was a short run.

Looked in the reply like Pennington never looked off the left side of the field. Reed was back playing Robber and read Chad's eyes all the way. Once the ball was in the air, it was over.
I wonder how long it'll be before the Talking Heads (Mariotti) brings up that this is a Parcells team ONCE AGAIN choking in the playoffs.
Not that I agree. I just think Jay Mariotti is a douchebag.
Little bit of a frustrating game as a Ravens fan, actually. They didn't play as well as they have been playing, particularly on offense. They should have blown the Dolphins off the field today with the way the Fins offense was playing.....
I just hope this doesn't turn Pennington into a goat overnight. He played well leading his team to a division title, one bad game shouldn't ruin that. Especially against that D.
The play where the Phins ran the end-around on 3rd and 6 and lost about 20 yards was inexcusable. A field goal there and its a one possesion game.

I disagree. This was going to be a rough game and I am amazed the Ravens played so well. 27-9 is 27-9. The offense sputtered at times, and I didn't like the play calling at all (Flacco threw way too many deep balls, for one), but we still managed to win by 18. Against an 11-5 team. On the road. Forcing 5 turnovers against a team that had 13 in the entire season.
The Ravens fan in me had no doubt they would win. They already beat the Fins week 7, in Miami, 27-13.

Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Jacksonville, and the Giants can all clinch playoff bearths with a win. Tennessee losing also gets Cleveland, Jacksonville, and Pittsburgh in.
