Not particularly a hockey fan, but I kind of enjoyed the game. The wings were clearly half-assing it in the first period and the Hawks were excited. Then the Wings just took over. They were clearly faster, had better formations and more discipline than the Hawks.
For me, as an old Chicago fan, the actual highlight was Stan Mikita, Bobby Hull, Ryne Sandberg, Billy Williams and others singing Take me out to the Hockey Game as the teams switched sides at 10 minutes of the third period.
I did notice the puck was bouncing like crazy.

There should be more games played outside, but if they became more commonplace, the NHL wouldn't be able to charge as much as they do for their Winter Classic games.
It was fun, but I think the Hawks might have tried showing up for the last two periods, a bit of a squandered chance to draw in the casual fans, I think.
Oh, and I still miss Wayne Messmer for the anthem.
