Oh no!
Thanks - it's fixed on the web version. Time to go fix the Usenet version...
Ladies and gentlemen, the following public service message is brought to you by your friends from D-Generation X, who would like to remind each and every one of you that if you're not down with that, we've got two words for you... Jericho being Best Wrestler is five years late in coming, but it's very well-deserved now too, so I'll just say that it's about goddamn time and leave it at that.
smark/net attack Advisory System Status is: Elevated (Holds; June 18, 2006) While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.
So Ric Flair was one of the two participants in the best match of the year, but is one of wrestling's most deteriorated participants? That's some lofty standard he must be held to.
You didn't mistakenly take mine for the double ballot did you? It took a long time to fill that damn thing out too. Did I screw it up and send it to the wrong box? rspw@rspw.org?
I don't know why, but it's kind of a letdown to see my votes left out even though they probably didn't make a difference but still I like to vote in stuff like this.
... or did my ballot make it and I screwed up the comments section?
On a side note, shouldn't Sting get credit for tying Colin Delany for Worst Heel?
... and did Jake the Snake and Scott Hall have a better 2007 than I noticed? Most Deteriorated in the last year? Really?

Sting DID tie Colin Delaney. I'll fix that up in post #1 and in the Web version.
I also found your comments. I'll put them in the Web version straightaway.
Man, I made a lotta mistakes this year! That's not easy with so few ballots!

Well, considering how long it took me to fill out a ballot I'm sure tallying them takes quite a bit more effort. That and we are all starting to get up there in age
After the horror of the Benoit situation last year, it's great that something as innocuous as the signing of Mike Adamle was the most disappointing news item of the year.
Hate to catch another mistake, but ISTM that Black Reign and Dustin Rhodes are the same person, and that person should have won Most Deteriorated Wrestler. He had 18 points as Reign and 12 as Rhodes, which combined beats the three tied with 25. Unless someone voted for Rhodes twice...
Shawn Michaels was in the very first Best Match winner in 1990, and the winner this year. That's pretty damn amazing.

Thank you! Fixed. I can't believe I've made more errors this year than the year I had over 500 ballots. (On the other hand, I DID try to knock this one out mostly over the course of two days...)
Wow, in all of the years I have seen this thing I can't agree more. I agree with W-awards, it would be nice to vote in something, but I don't think you can ask for a list of winners. I'm glad someone else likes Santino.

This actually makes me happy to see. The right guy wins here. While he never was the greatest in the ring, his fall was almost shocking to see. I'm not sure if it was being lazy, age, weight or all three but he earned this.
In our main event tonight, we take a look back at RAW 1000 - aw, really? Bleah. Also tonight: SIN CARA takes on DREW McINTYRE - hey wait, we had this match LAST episode - is it too cynical of me to assume whoever lost last week will win tonight?
