That was all kinds of awesome. Can't wait to show my wife this longer version of the commercial.

And all this time I thought that was Meatloaf's real family. I would always think to myself while watching the commercial: "Wow, Meatloaf's son looks just like the old man and his wife sure looks a lot like Tiffany."

I didn't even know that there WAS a long version of that commercial! That's awesome! I have to admit, like Kevintripod, that I thought that was Meatloaf's real family, but the truth is even better.

I'm watching X2 on FX, and they just ran a commercial for M&M's Dark Chocolate that's a sendup of the intro to the old Addams Family TV series.

Completely FREAKING awesome.

(First time I've seen it, anyway...)

There's a fun NICODERM commercial, where the woman who's struggling to get off nicotine goes through a wide array of emotions while at work, including crying over the intercom, pushing through crowds, impatience and boredom within a span of a few seconds.

My new favorite commercial is the Domino's ad featuring the pizza invented by Steve Leonard, because:

1) I used to work for Steve Leonard
2) I'm pretty sure my friend Matt or I invented that Pizza

I love the Monday Night Football commercial from ESPN where the guy is dreaming about playing his electric key-tar with MC Hammer when his "beeper" goes off. And hammer stops the jam and goes "Whose beeper keeps beeping and beeping?" And someone from his entourage goes "Hammer don't hurt 'em!".

I laugh everytime I see that!

"Marriage is like that show ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’, but it’s not funny. All the problems are the same, but you know instead of all the funny, pithy dialogue, everybody is really pissed off and tense. Marriage is like a tense, unfunny version of 'Everybody Loves Raymond', only it doesn't last 22 minutes. It lasts forever."

It is getting older now, but the Bud Light commercial where the couple picks up the hitchhiker with the axe. Then later the masked madman ... 'And a chainsaw!'

I like the cell phone commercial (well, it can't be that good a commercial because I can't remember what brand) where they didn't get the message about the friendly dino costume being ripped. Technically I just love the "Memories!!!" bit at the end.

I think that's part of the AT+T series of commercials that are pretty hilarious.

When the Ozzy/cell phone commercial comes on, I just can't help but watch it (when no one can understand a word he says unless he texts it). I can't figure out if either I'm supposed to believe that he magically knows everyone's number, or if the cell phone just sends the text to the closest person's cell phone. Nonetheless, the commercial always amuses me.

That one and the Steve Buscemi/Norm MacDonald gingerbread house ad (pay-as-you-go, I think)

I still see that one from time to time.

My current favorite is for anyone that has Comcast - they have a series of tortoise commercials that demonstrates how not everyone likes things fast, like CC's Internet service. The latest is the two sitting in a theatre and the male gets shhh-ed by the guy next to him. "WE GOT A REAAAAAL TALKER OVER HERE."

I love all of those commercials. There's a pretty sweet one where she's rocking out on those party noisemakers. A woman after my own heart, I tell ya...just don't tell my girlfriend she has competition. Haha!

I just recently found some old VHS tapes with the Bacardi and Cola commercials. Those were fun.

LOVE IT. I had never actually watched much of it at all until TBS started running the all day thing each Christmas, now we just put it on and let it go all day.
