If only he were leaving tv as well. Then they wouldn't have had to put a shirt on Heidi Klum in her Guitar Hero ad.

I'm not an O'Reilly fan at all, but I'd much rather see Hannitty gone.

CajunMan, I'm not going to apologise because you still shouldn't post here when you're under the influence.

NOW. I used to think Bill O'Reilly was a giant douche, but Keith Olbermann has convinced me that Bill is someone worth paying attention to if not outright obsessing over. No, not really, but if there's nothing else on but "Countdown" and "Factor" - and it does happen about once a week - Fox News is going to get my TV every time, even if I end up on the laptop and not watching it at all.

I never listened to the Radio Factor so this doesn't affect me. Wasn't he basically competing for the same slice of the pie as Rush & Hannity? He's better off sticking to his strength. I'm pretty sure "Factor" is the highest rated cabler in prime time, if I've visited TVNewser (mediabistro.com) recently.

Wow, are you serious? Heidi Klum not wearing a shirt in the Guitar Hero ad would have made it a pretty ineffective homage to "Risky Business."

There are certain levels of inaccuracy I am prepared to accept.

Besides, it is just one more example of O'Reilly being a giant blathering ninny who loves to pick fights about useless crap.

The gap is definitely narrowing, especially in the key demos. http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/ratings/ shows that as of late it is neck and neck between Olbermann and O'Reilly.

Zed, I really think he was trying to position himself as above left or right and simply correct. His big problem is that his routine just doesn't translate to radio for whatever reason. And when I want "news", Fox is fine and doesn't do a bad job. I actually like Shep Smith. If I want commentary, well The Daily Show and the Colbert Report are usually more spot on than any of the news networks.

I can't believe where we've come that people feel the need to tune into John Stewart for their news. That's sad.

I had just bent down to tighten my nuts, and there was a double yellow line, see? And next thing I knew, there was policeman behind me. He put a sticker on my helmet and tried to clamp me.

(Underlines added by me) Or were you referring to someone/something else?

You see the light, apology accepted even if you do not apologise. By the way I was sober last night.
