WOW!

Never in a million years did I think Vic would sell Ronnie out like that. But, I guess it makes sense. He's been trying to save his own ass the past two seasons.

Claudette flipping out on Dutch was unexpected. She's going to lose her mind I believe.

The scenes from the finale look like they are going to make it look like Vic is getting busted, so who knows what happens.

Maura shooting everybody was a shock as well. Shane should just eat a bullet and write a note saying he shot everybody, so she won't have to go to jail.

What will Ronnie do? THAT's the question.

I'm not surprised he sold out Ronnie in the end, but DAMN I can't believe the son of a bitch got his immunity. I thought for sure he'd be interrupted before he could start or it would turn out to be a set up or SOMETHING. God, I wish this wasn't the last season.

I almost don't even dare hazard another guess at what's going to happen next week, but I have to think that they're going to end the show with Claudette and Dutch finally getting Vic in cuffs, so let's just say he kills Shane, and gets caught- Ronnie rats him out to Dutch and Claudette for revenge and to save his own ass or something. Or for a way out of left field choice, Vic gets away with it all, finds out Corrine was setting him up, kills her, and goes down for THAT. It literally could be anything, really. I've never guessed right about the path of this show, not once.

Vic sitting there after the recorder was turned on was one of the great things of all time to be seen on the TV that I have in my house.

That confession scene was amazing -- especially the moments just before the confession. I was imagining (naively?) that it would be like a blanket pardon -- "you have immunity for whatever heinous shit you may have done" -- so it took me a little by surprise. Is he actually going to admit to everything? Even Terry? OMG HE SAID IT!

I assumed that he thinks he can somehow warn Ronnie in time (covertly, while in plain sight?) and put one over on the feds -- that's sort of been his main attitude toward authority. The stakes are pretty high, though, so I dunno. His wife trumps Ronnie, I guess, but Vic's "ah, I'll just string him along" was too casual.

I really thought that last scene with them was going to turn into a murder/suicide, or at least one out of two. I really did.

Would it be too obvious and predictable for Dutchboy to get killed by Lloyd after receiving another phone call from Rita's cell phone? I'm expecting Claudette and Aceveda to team up to keep the ICE bust from succeeding in order to void Vic's immunity deal.

And I was also kind of surprised that a coked up Cletus Van Damme didn't go all Canadian Crippler on his family. Everything that Shane has done has so gotten screwed up and now that he's got his pharmacy with him I don't see him finding a way out...

I could see Dutch killing the kid.

Still not sure how everything else plays out. Can't wait for the finale.

Damn you, that's exactly what I was thinking this morning, and you beat me to it. Yeah, that would be a pretty shocking payoff to that storyline.

The confession scenes were some of my all time favorite TV moments. Chiklis should get an Emmy just for it, and the "I've done worse" line was classic Vic. And the change in Olivia's look the more Vic revealed was great, with her dumbfounded "WTF have I done!" look and pale, shaken visage.

Am I the only one who sort of cheered a little inside when Mara got hurt? I can't stand her, and hope she goes down in flames with Shane. Of course, hopefully the kids come out ok.

CxMorgado, that's exactly how I feel. It never quite goes the way you expect, and I won't even try to guess at what happens next week.

Maura has been an annoying bitch from the jump, but she isn't going to die while pregnant, as much as I wish she would.

The look of WTF on Olivia's face was great, but when it turned into "I am going to farking PUKE" was classic.

The fact that Vic was so calm "So, I thought I had a suspect in the Lem killing, so I went to Mexico and murdered him" was bone chilling.

The more you think about it, the more you hope Vic burns in Hell. Too bad he's so much fun to watch.

Wow! This show has been unbelievably good the last few weeks, but that was the best episode of the season. Maybe one of the best in the shows' entire run.

I am beginning to think Vic beats them all, and then eats a bullet himself. The only person that can stop him, IS him.

Perhaps he Vic finds out Corrine was working with Claudette, confronts her, and SHE kills him. God knows if anybody had just cause to kill Mackey, it's his old lady.

SHIT I cannot wait for next week.

Which makes me wonder if she somehow had ties to Terry.

After seeing the preview, and vic in the interrogation room, growling at the camera, makes me wonder if he actually goes down. Him ripping the camera off the wall would be a great last shot of the series.

One thing that stuck out for me - really pretty unrelated to the goings on of the episode - Vic's employment at ICE came with a salary of $62,000 annually; I know Vic wasn't excactly in the best bargaining position and was probably being treated as a near rookie in terms of pay grade, but isn't that a little low?

I only just liked him until I saw him as Iago opposite Anthony Hopkins as Othello. This was from 1981. He is really really really good in a role that can go askew easily.
