Quick N' Detailed with full results at WWE.com

Miz and Morrison start the show bragging that they will lead team JBL to victory.

D.J. GABRIEL (w/Alicia Fox) Def. SAL RINAURO

Jack Swagger def. Tommy Dreamer by DQ in a Amateur Wrestling Competition match.

Afterward Tommy grabbed the mic to say, "Opps, my bad."

Swagger demanded a rematch, from Teddy Long, in the back after insulting Tiffany and arguing with Ricky Ortiz about his "handkerchief". Book it: Dreamer vs. Swagger "EXTREME RULES".

Six Man Tag Team Match:

Kofi Kingston, Finlay, and Matt Hardy vs. Cody Rhodes, William Regal, and Mark Henry.

First three minutes shown until commercial break.

Were back 9:53pm with Kofi getting worked over by Cody who tags out Regal. Regal continues punish Kofi until he makes the tag to Finlay.

Finlay gets thrown to the outside by Regal which eventually lead to him tagging out to Henry who gets him down to the neck nerve hold. Finlay works his way up from it which leads Henry to tag out to Regal who takes Finlay back down to apply a sit down full nelson.

Does it show that Finlay and Regal have been wrestling each other for nearly 20 years or more?

Works back up...few more transitions into HOT TAG to Kofi. Holy smokes he's a HOUSE OF FIRE! OUCH. And Kofi gets caught by Mark Henry in the "World's Stongest Slam". 1...2....3! We're out right at 10pm.

That's wasn't a bad six man. Highlight of the show is Swagger.

I can't WAIT!
Next week: Boogeyman returns. Everybody hold your breath because I know we can't wait. :-)

That six man tag was way better than I was expecting going into the PPV. It also had way more Regal and Finlay than I was expecting which is even better. Regal's asshole push of Finlay of the ropes was a great spot. I was actually getting a little worried that Finlay might be going soft, so seeing him get rough with Regal was a nice change.

Edit: Also a tip of the cap to Matt Striker for saying exactly what I was thinking while watching DJ Gabriel's entrance ... he's a little like Alex Wright!

That six man was a total DVDVR special, with Regal and Finlay in for about 80% of the match doing all the stuff the workrate folks write lots of neat words about, culminating in the beloved big man using the power move to get the pin on...the guy who wasn't Finlay. Well, you can't have EVERYTHING be perfect.

Who's DJ Gabriel and should we care? The highlight was either Alicia Fox' hot pants or Matt Striker noting the resemblance to Alex Wright. Also, c'mon jwrestle, Striker said " Sal Rinauro (salrinauro.com)" a few thousand times during the match. You could have looked it up. (I just did!) (EDIT: And now I see you DID edit! We'll make a recapper out of you yet.) Striker didn't have the balls to say "FIP," though; THAT would have been what we in the biz call a "markout moment."

Since I'm Googling, looks like DJ Gabriel is Steve Lewington (stevelewington.com) (DISCLAIMER: Site is not actually his, but DOES play Kenny Loggins' "Danger Zone")

So Miz and Morrison learned to talk from all that wwe.com action, yeah? I'm not sure it made me any more likely to buy Survivor Series than did Striker's chalk talk. Ha ha, just kidding, I was NEVER going to buy Survivor Series.

Thanks...at least it isn't any where near as bad as the Monday Night Raw "recapping" debacle from a few years back. Right? No? "We'll never speak of this again". Unless it comes up in the W history page. On second thought disable those pages from every coming back up.

Wow, it really does play 'Danger Zone' it's great to see that young people are still getting fired up to that song. That helps explain the Aviators though.

It's sad that there's a Michael-Jackson-remix-dancer with a glorified European Uppercut for a finisher on the show, and Elijah Burke is unemployed.

But I suppose that's how Vinnie Mac likes to work. I'm actually willing to give Gabriel a chance because he looked like he could move fairly well in the ring. We shall see.

Matt Striker making a Morrissey reference just one week after "coming out" strongly against gay marriage leads me to believe that might have just been him heeling it up.

So bizarre to hear Matt get such a huge reaction and get such little match time. He as dumped by Regal and didn't figure into the pinfall at all.

Striker sounds like he's having more fun than any other WWE announcer.

Apparently, the guy can barely walk with his malfunctioning knees. I was cringing just seeing him walk down the aisle pretending not to be in excruciating pain.

This week was the first time I've seen ECW in over two months and I enjoyed it. I like the B show vibe and it seems like there's more of an anything goes atmosphere in the ring and in the announcing. The RAW guys in the main helped (I'd rather watch Kofi and Rhodes wrestle than JBL and Kane - even though they're BIG, HUGE MAIN EVENTERS, so Vince keeps telling me). I'm also getting onboard with the Jack Swagger love, plus it's nice to see Tommy Dreamer hold his head high and get one over on someone.

I was there live (Yay me!) and he sure fooled me during the dark match with Henry immeidately after the six man. He hit no less than three top rope elbow drops (the type where you land on your feet, not HBK/Macho Man style) and didn't seem to limp afterwards. I just always thought he walked like that...Anyway, one of the other non-televised highlights was P.S. Haas - complete with Bad Street Atlanta GA theme music. He even won with a nice DDT to some guy so generic they didn't even bother to announce his name.

DJ Gabriel looks like wellness violation waiting to happen, but my God is Alicia Fox hot. And I was like four rows away from the ramp so I had a very good view of her and the other divas that night.

Cena can't be beat because he's some unholy genetic recombinate of superstars past. I mean, you might as well call him John "Realest of the Real, Sargent Rock - Cold - A - Mania" Cena.

As usual, just more empty platitudes from JR. If Austin does come back for one more match, I'd hope it's something more interesting than a match with Vince.
