I actually thought this was better than "The Office" last night. I was also more excited for the Night court reunion than Jennifer Aniston's appearance, even though she did a good job. The quote of the show was from Tracy: "Kenneth is going through some hard times: They're making him wear a coat that's different from his other coat."

Also from Tracy: "I had to get rough with the boys up top Kenneth, I had to them I wouldn't play Mac in the upcoming "Night Court" movie"
Mac: "The what now?"

I think so too, and I love the Office. 30 Rock is on another level, I think, because it is funny all the way through without being bogged down by any bits of drama. Those bits are certainly well done on the Office, and the show wouldn't be the same without them, but 100% comedy is what always entertains me more.

geemoney's Tracy quote was the highlight of the show for me too. I think the Night Court stuff would have been funnier if I had ever heard of Night Court before Thursday, but the fact that it was as hilarious as it was despite that fact is amazing.

Lloyd: When I met Mary, I got that old fashioned romantic feeling, where I'd do anything to bone her.
Harry: That's a special feeling.

For some reason, this wounds me deeply ...

Of course, the actual Night Court finale featured the bailiff being abducted by aliens (like Cartman said, I'm talkin' Night Court in its fifth season laaaaame) ... so I guess the idea of a werewolf-lawyer isn't so far-fetched after all.

Still, I'd rank this (goldenagecartoons.com) as the most implausible moment in Night Court History (no YouTube clip, dammit!) ...

Parquet Wishes and Leprechaun Dreams

The most hilarious thing about Tommy Dreamer is that everyone else in WWE, from Shelton Benjamin to dudes who haven't even debuted yet, has a T-shirt available. WWE doesn't even bother printing up a T-shirt for Tommy Dreamer, A MAN WHOSE GIMMICK IS WEARING A T-SHIRT WHILE WRESTLING. And why is that? Because not a god damn person would ever pay money for a Tommy Dreamer shirt. Not even his own mother. As a result he usually ends up wearing a shirt that says "WRESTLEMANIA 24" or "JUDGEMENT DAY." I think it's time for Tommy Dreamer to just print up a T-shirt that says "UPCOMING PAY PER VIEW"

Me too! This show is one of my all time favorites and it has to rank way up there as one of the top comedies of the 80s. In fact, didn't John Larroquette win like a bazillion Emmys in a row for his supporting role as Dan Fielding?

I wonder if they try and go more and more outrageous with Patrick Stewart on this show the same way they do with Adam West on FG?
