And yes, it would be awesome.
The word on Sunday was that if Carl won AND led the most laps to get the 10 bonus points...Johnson could still win if he finished 36th or better. After expressing disappointment that he hadn't locked up the Cup already, Johnson joked that he would hope for that Top 36 finish at Homestead.

Also, it would be the biggest choke job in NASCAR history, by a LOT. The points lead has only change hands at the last race TWICE since they changed the points system in 1975.
- In 1979, Richard Petty was two points behind Darrell Waltrip and won the championship. - In 1992, Alan Kulwicki was 30 points behind Davey Allison and won the championship.
That's the whole list of comebacks.
Jimmie doesn't HAVE to finish in the top-36 - that's only assuming Carl wins and leads the most laps. Once Jimmie starts the race, the only ways Carl can have enough points to take the title is if he (Carl) finishes second. If Carl finishes second without leading a lap and Jimmie finishes 43rd, they are tied on points and Carl wins on the tiebreaker (most wins).

I agree overall with odessasteps- not that there were too many decisions, but that outside of the last two bouts, it was a rather forgettable PPV. -I really like Clay Guida, but I don't know about the decision.
