Promises to be an entertaining election night. We will flip between MSNBC, FOX, and John Stewart/Colbert. If things are going awry for the Reps, I will watch more Fox to see Hannity's head explode and watch Karl Rove spin. If the Dems are in trouble, I'll watch more MSNBC to watch Olbermann and Maddow do the same.
Thank God for NBC. I am hopeful that MSNBC will be firewalled off into their own ghetto which I can avoid most of the night (unless I go through Pat Buchanan withdrawl).
I expect to be flipping between NBC and CNN and will probably be working the laptop between snacks. Tonight is better'n Christmas!!

Well I think I like Christmas a bit more, but what you said. The lovely Mrs. whatever could probably do without the wall-to-wall coverage. Tough. ;)

How dare you badmouth MSNBC! Without them, I would never get to see the awesomeness of Suze Orman.
...checks TV Guide...
Oh wait, she's on CNBC. My bad. You're right, MSNBC can go to hell.
All joking aside, I'm going to sound like a prick on this. Outside of declaring the winner and making sure they're right this time, unlike in 2000, I'm avoiding the TV tonight. If I really need to see in-depth news on the election, I'll check out BBC World News. Yes, it's not US based, but frankly I think that's better in getting news without any spin like on FOX, NBC, or even CNN these days.
EDIT: Now that I saw the commerical for it, I might tune into Indecision 2008 on Comedy Central just for the laughs. But as far as details of who won and how, I'll wait until after the election is truly settled so that I don't conflicting and ever-changing results.
I'm trying to watch as many channels at once as possible tonight. I like getting everybody's take/reactions on this kind of stuff. I'll be hitting up the good ol' internets too.
Echoing most of what's been posted already, I'll be sampling a buffet of NBC/CNN/Comedy Central. Will be interested to see who tries to step up at NBC and take Russert's "spot."
You are going to get a certain amount of snarkiness on the Internet no matter what, and my rule is that you don't post anything that you wouldn't say to someone's face. Marc Andreyko (Writer of DC Comics Manhunter)

DirecTV sent out an email today saying that had Channel 352 set up for 8 channels at once: ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, Fox, CNN, FoxNews and Comedy Channel.
I think that's where I will watch. You can switch from one to the other without ever leaving 352!
The Defending World Champion New York Football Giants
I will probably watch NBC and CNN. I used to like MSNBC, but htey are too over the top anymore. I am sure at some point I will be wishing Tim Russert was still around...

That's awesome. It's Newsmix (which is what I was going to watch) with Comedy Central.
Comedy Central is now on an even keel with Fox News (Ironic, since Murdoch owns a third of DirecTV)
Originally posted by OliverIf the Comedy Network here in Canada shows Colbert and Stewart, then I'll watch that.
I'm sure one of our news networks is following it.
My guide says CTV has it. I will be there with bells on.
Before then, I'll flip from CNN to the other networks. I'm not sure if I'm going to have HDNet's coverage, because that looks pretty interesting (Dan Rather, Nate Silver of FiveThirtyEight.com).
EDIT: HDNet is a no-go for me, but I did find streaming video of MSNBC.
I'm going to go to the gym and probably watch The Fight Network. Then I will come home and probably watch WWE 24/7. Then I will play some Xbox Live Uno or Wii Wi-Fi Tetris Party. Around 11:30, I will go "Oh shit! Election!" and get the results online.
I used to go with MSNBC, but that was before Matthews went over the edge. Probably flip between NBC, Fox News and the Celtics, with the Celtics probably being the main attraction.
Mine would be: (Truth serum) to just about any Vet - who's the most fun on the road, who's the biggest jerk? and To Dusty - what do you think of Sid Vicious? and to Vince McMahon - why Steph over Shane?
