Hamtaro misses you too!

Seems like a good time to fire one of these up.

For the first time ever, I snagged every new release this week. After last week's RHCP album and this week's songs, it seems like Harmonix is really bringing the awesome to preempitvely strike at GH4.

  • "All Right Now" Free
A classic that everyone knows. I didn't know the band name so I had a moment of false excitement before Isaw it cost points.
  • "Bad to the Bone" George Thorogood & the Destroyers
Just watched T2 the other day so this is a fun option to have.
  • "Cream & Bastards Rise" Harvey Danger
It's no Flagpole Sitta, but it's still a lot of fun. A full album for them would be incredible.
  • "Gone Away" The Offspring
Also available (along with the other two Offspring offerings) in The Offspring song pak!
  • "Nearly Lost You" Screaming Trees
This was all over M2 (r.i.p.) back in the day and I think someone mentioned it in the "What's YOUR Entrance Music?" thread.
  • "Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)" The Offspring
And your ability to match Weird Al lyrics with Rock Band gameplay gros.
  • "Push It" Static X
Probably a nightmare to keep up with, the vocal part is definitely going to be an adventure.
  • "Self Esteem" The Offspring
One of my favorite songs ever. EVER.
  • "Stop!" Against Me!
I listened to the preview and liked it. Hey, why make it the exception when I wanted all the other songs?

Let's hope the mysterious Green Day embargo ends (maybe they're in the pipeling for the full album treatment?) and wish for more Weezer.

What did you pick up? What bands/songs are you waiting for? Did you get the Stephen Colbert song last month? And most importantly, did you download "Skullcrusher Mountain" so we'll get more Coulton?

Just J, not Johnny.

Definitely picked up the Offspring Pack, as they're one of my personal fave bands. These aren't my three favorites, but they're still a hoot to play. Hopefully, this isn't the last pack to come for the Offspring, as "Bad Habit" needs to be in this game yesterday.

On the fence about the rest, but I might crack for "Bad to the Bone".

EDIT: If this is going to be a new Weekly Feature At The W, then we're going to need a Rock Band 2 thread icon.

I haven't downloaded any songs yet, but I'll definitely pick up Bad to the Bone. I may pick up some Offspring tracks too, but I'm on the fence. I've been stingier w/ my DLC purchases as I already have 48 songs.

My favorite DLC includes Boston, System of a Down, Oasis, Metallica, The Police, STP, Disturbed and a few others. Very tempted to get Jimmy Buffett for the novelty factor. But then upcoming DLC albums by Foo Fighters, Motley Crue, Jane's Addiction, No Doubt and Stevie Ray Vaughn make me hold off from buying existing songs. I didn't get Skullcrusher Mountain but I should.

Charlene is the easiest song to get the 100% expert drum achievement. For guitar 100%, I got it with I Think I'm Paranoid. For bass, I got it from Learning to Fly.

I'm very excited to get Rock Band 2 and start downloading songs. For some reason, the idea of playing Cream and Bastards Rise fills me with so much joy. And you can buy all of Blood Sugar Sex Magik? SENSATIONAL.
